Virgin Voyages August 2026 Offer: Free Balcony Upgrade Extended and 70% Off Second Sailor
Virgin Voyages extends its Free Balcony Upgrade and 70% Off Second Sailor offer, with bookings now available on eligible voyages.
Virgin Voyages has extended its summer promotion, continuing the 70% Off a Second Sailor offer alongside the Free Balcony Upgrade on eligible bookings.
The promotion remains largely unchanged from the June and July 2026 offer. However, the two parts of the promotion now have different booking deadlines.
- 70% Off a Second Sailor: Book from 1 August through 2 November 2026
- Free Balcony Upgrade: Book from 1 August through 31 August 2026
Both offers apply to eligible non-charter, open-for-sale revenue voyages across the Virgin Voyages fleet. Cabin, fare and availability rules apply.
Booking times are based on US East Coast local time.
What the Extended Virgin Voyages Offer Includes
The extended Virgin Voyages promotion continues to include two main offers:
- 70% off a second sailor on eligible cabins
- Free Balcony Upgrade on eligible Sea Terrace cabins booked during August
Bookings made through VV Insider may also qualify for additional onboard credit on selected voyages where eligible.
70% Off a Second Sailor
The 70% Off Second Sailor offer has been extended for eligible bookings made from 1 August through 2 November 2026.
Under the offer, Virgin Voyages gives each Sailor in an eligible cabin a total discount equal to 35% off their retail base voyage fare.
That means when two Sailors share an eligible cabin, both Sailor 1 and Sailor 2 receive 35% off their voyage fare. If four Sailors share one eligible cabin, all four Sailors receive the same 35% reduction.

Free Balcony Upgrade Extended Through August
Virgin Voyages has also extended its Free Balcony Upgrade offer for eligible bookings made from 1 August through 31 August 2026.
Under this promotion, Sailors can book select Sea Terrace cabins at the same price as a standard Sea View cabin.
The Free Balcony Upgrade applies to eligible Base, Essential and Premium fare bookings. Lock It In Rate Guaranteed Bookings are not eligible.

Important: Upgrades are not applied automatically. Sailors must book directly into the eligible Sea Terrace category to receive the promotional pricing. The eligible Sea Terrace cabin should appear at the same price as a Sea View.
Pricing and availability may change at any time. Therefore, the free upgrade may not appear on every eligible voyage or departure date.
Can These Offers Be Combined?
Yes. The 70% Off Second Sailor and Free Balcony Upgrade offers can be combined with each other on eligible bookings.

The Free Balcony Upgrade may be combined with the 70% Off Second Sailor offer, Pay In Full Discount, eligible Resident Rates, Military and First Responders rates, selected group programs, tour operator rates and certain onboard credit programs.
Incentive and Contracted Circle programs are excluded. Other eligibility and combinability restrictions may apply.
Bookings made through VV Insider may also qualify for additional onboard credit on selected voyages where eligible.

Book an Eligible Virgin Voyages Offer
To receive the Free Balcony Upgrade, eligible bookings must be made by 31 August 2026 at 11:59pm ET.
The 70% Off Second Sailor offer continues after the balcony promotion ends. Eligible bookings can be made through 2 November 2026 at 11:59:59pm ET.
