The Loose Cannon
Tucked inside the Social Club area, The Loose Cannon is a small, nautical-themed bar that brings casual pub energy to Virgin Voyages. It’s the kind of place you might stumble upon, grab a drink, and end up staying for the atmosphere.
You’ll find beers, wines, and simple cocktails on the menu—but the real standout is the Sh-oct-a-pus, a five-shot tower served in a metal octopus sculpture. It’s made for sharing and always gets a few looks when it arrives at the bar.
A Lively Little Hangout
It’s not a big space, but that adds to the charm. The bar is the main focus, with limited seating around the edges. That setup gives it a naturally social vibe—people pop in for a quick drink, end up chatting, and sometimes stick around for the next round.

Throughout the voyage, The Loose Cannon plays host as extra space to low-key trivia sessions such as Salty Trivia and Risky Quizness.
There’s also a digital jukebox loaded with thousands of songs, so you can queue up a favorite and add your own touch to the playlist while you sip.
Group Activity Beverages
If you’re sailing with friends, the group drinks here are a fun way to kick off the night. They’re made for five and served with a bit of flair.
- ‘Sh-oct-a-pus’ – A blend of three different rums, lime, pineapple, grenadine, ginger, and Angostura bitters
- ‘Ring the Bell’ – Features tito’s vodka, blue curaçao, lime, peach bitters and saline
