If you've been following Virgin Voyages
0:02
on social media over the past couple of
0:03
days, you'll know there's a big
0:05
announcement coming today. Well, we've
0:07
been having some really exciting
0:08
conversations with Virgin Voyages over
0:11
the past few days to get this
0:12
information ready for you right now.
0:15
We've been preparing some information
0:17
over at vvincider.com
0:19
to explain everything about this
0:21
announcement. And crucially, we've been
0:22
digging down into what you need to know
0:24
as sailor over the next few months. I'm
0:27
David from VV Insider and we've been
0:29
doing what we do best here at VV
0:31
Insider, which is to bring all the
0:33
information from Virgin Voyages and
0:35
break it down into a really easy to
0:37
understand format for you, the sailors
0:39
and for first mates around the world.
0:41
So, before we get into the big
0:43
announcement, I'll just pause here for
0:45
one second and ask if you haven't
0:46
subscribed to our YouTube channel
0:48
already that you drop us a subscribe.
0:50
And also as we go through the
0:52
announcement, let us know in the
0:54
comments what you think about each
0:55
aspect as we go through it because it's
0:57
likely that it's not just us who will be
0:59
looking at this feedback, but also the
1:01
Virgin Voyages brand as well. So, let's
1:03
jump right in. So, before I disappoint
1:05
anyone, before I go any further, this
1:08
announcement has nothing to do with any
1:10
more ships. Unfortunately, this is a
1:12
question that the Virgin Voyages board
1:14
are being asked time and time again. And
1:16
of course, if any such announcements are
1:18
going to happen like that, the best
1:19
place to find all that information will
1:21
be right here at VV Inside. But right
1:23
now, let's talk about the September 2025
1:26
announcement from Virgin Voyages and
1:28
what it means for you as sailors. So,
1:30
this announcement is going to break down
1:32
into two parts. The first part is going
1:35
to be all about the changes to the type
1:37
of fairs that you can choose as a sailor
1:39
when you're booking your Virgin Voyage.
1:41
and the second half will be about
1:43
gratuitities and how that is changed in
1:45
the world of Virgin Voyages. So, let's
1:47
kick things off first with those changes
1:49
to the choices that you're given when
1:51
you're booking your voyage. And this is
1:53
something that Virgin Voyages call
1:55
voyage fair choices. The voyage fair
1:58
choices announcement is all about giving
2:00
the flexibility to sailor about choosing
2:03
the voyage that is tailored to them. So,
2:05
as you're going through and booking your
2:07
Virgin Voyages vacation, either directly
2:10
or with a first mate, there will now be
2:12
more choices available to you, not only
2:14
limited to the pricing, but also how
2:17
flexible those vacations will be. Virgin
2:19
Voyagers are touting the voyage fair
2:21
changes as a revolutionary new pricing
2:24
system that actually aligns more to
2:26
hotel or airline pricing models where
2:29
the prices of the fairs are determined
2:31
by the level of flexibility and the
2:34
perks that you get included with those.
2:36
Now, when Virgin Voyages first started
2:38
telling us about these changes to fair
2:40
options, alarm bells started ringing and
2:43
I thought, right, it's going to be very
2:45
different when you step on board now
2:47
because depending on how much you pay,
2:49
that could mean differences to which
2:50
dining options are available to you. It
2:53
could mean that you're having to pay
2:54
extra for events, things like this. But
2:56
Virgin Voyagers were very keen to
2:58
alleviate our concerns in that regard.
3:00
and they actually confirmed to us right
3:02
away that the Virgin Voyages on board
3:04
experience is not changing as part of
3:06
this announcement. So when you get on
3:09
board, the experience will be the one
3:11
that you know and love from Virgin
3:13
Voyages. Nothing will change in that
3:15
regard. Every sailor will be T as every
3:18
other sailor is. You will have access to
3:20
the same dining, the same event as
3:22
always. They even went as far as
3:24
confirming that the crew will not even
3:26
know which type of fair you've chosen
3:28
once you get on board. So, it is
3:30
completely separate and it will become a
3:32
lot more clear what we mean when we step
3:34
through the rest of this announcement.
3:36
So, let's start off by taking a look at
3:38
what today's fair includes. So, of
3:41
course, today's fair includes that
3:43
always included luxury, which are all
3:45
the things that I've just mentioned. So,
3:47
the incredible dining, the
3:48
entertainment, the fitness classes, the
3:50
sodas, the waters, the included Wi-Fi,
3:54
all of that will remain. But one
3:56
important aspect to this announcement
3:58
that is changing or will be offered as a
4:00
choice anyway is the flexibility that
4:03
you get with today's fair. So,
4:05
currently, you're able to change the
4:06
named sailors on your booking up to 48
4:09
hours before you sail. And likewise,
4:11
you're also able to move your cabin
4:13
assignment around as well. And in
4:15
addition to this, you're also able to
4:18
move your voyage to a different sailing
4:20
date or at least the credit that you
4:21
have put towards that voyage up to 45
4:24
days before you sail as well. Well,
4:26
starting from the 7th of October, the
4:29
style of fair that's being offered for
4:31
those who are booking a sea terrace
4:33
cabin or below will no longer be
4:36
offered. So the 7th of October is the
4:38
date where things will change. Remember
4:40
that is limited to sea terrace and
4:42
below. So, if you're traveling Rockstar
4:44
or mega rockstar, your options will just
4:47
be the same as they are today. So, for
4:49
the sake of this video and the
4:50
terminology that we'll use on our
4:52
website at vvincider.com as well, we're
4:55
going to refer to any bookings that were
4:56
made before the 7th of October as legacy
5:00
fair bookings. Now, these Legacy Fair
5:02
bookings are quite interesting because
5:04
not only will you keep the same booking
5:06
terms as you would normally would, you
5:08
actually get a bit of a hidden perk
5:10
where actually the window where you're
5:12
able to book dining will be extended to
5:14
60 days instead of 45. So, you'll be
5:17
able to book your dining for your voyage
5:20
a little bit earlier than you did
5:21
before. And this counts on bookings all
5:23
the way up until the 7th of October. So,
5:26
you still have time right now if you
5:28
like to book a sailing and lock it in on
5:30
that legacy fair. But now, I'm going to
5:33
tell you about the new voyage fair
5:35
choices model and the choices that come
5:37
along with that. So, you might prefer
5:39
these options instead. So, the first
5:41
voyage fair choice I want to mention is
5:43
called the essential fair. And the
5:45
essential fair effectively replaces the
5:48
legacy fair. And I'm going to show you
5:50
just how similar the essential fair is
5:53
to the fair that you already use today.
5:55
and the one that you'll probably be
5:56
familiar with already. So, the essential
5:58
fair is very similar to the legacy fair
6:01
indeed. You likely will not recognize
6:03
any differences at all. The one main
6:06
difference here is that the flexibility
6:08
of this fair has been slightly
6:09
diminished with the fact that you can
6:11
now only make changes to your fellow
6:14
sailor rather than the main sailor on
6:16
the booking. So, what I mean by that is
6:19
when you go through the booking process,
6:21
you'll be asked who you would like to
6:22
designate as sailor one. So, starting
6:25
from the 7th of October, if you choose
6:28
an essential fair and you set yourself
6:30
as sailor one, you will now have to go
6:33
on that voyage. There will no longer be
6:35
the option to swap your name out for
6:37
somebody else. This is particularly
6:39
important to any of those that have
6:41
moved their booking to one of their
6:43
family members or maybe sold their
6:45
booking to a friend in the past because
6:47
with the essential fair, it won't have
6:49
that flexibility. So, one thing to be
6:51
really careful with on an essential fair
6:54
is always name the person who's
6:56
definitely going as sailor one on these
6:58
bookings because you will not be able to
7:00
swap them out. But other than that small
7:02
caveat, the essential fair will be very,
7:04
very similar to the legacy fair of old.
7:07
And we'll continue to have a 45day
7:10
booking window for dining. So, remember,
7:12
if you want to keep that flexibility for
7:14
Sailor 1 and you also want a 60-day
7:17
dining booking window, then make sure
7:19
you make your booking before the 7th of
7:21
October if you'd like to lock that down.
7:23
So, let's now take a look at one of our
7:25
first choices when it comes to this new
7:27
model. So, let's move along to something
7:29
that is a lot more flexible than the
7:31
essential fair, and that is the new
7:34
premium fair option. So, the premium
7:36
fair will sit above the essential
7:38
option. And of course, because it sits
7:40
above the essential fair, there is an
7:43
additional cost involved with the
7:44
premium fair, but it does include some
7:46
new perks. So, let's take a look at what
7:49
those perks look like. So, the
7:50
additional cost for the premium fair
7:52
will be $45 per sailor per night, but
7:55
that includes a few really valuable
7:57
perks. The first one being a 60-day
7:59
dining booking window. So, a 60-day
8:02
dining booking window was originally
8:05
preserved just for those in the Rockstar
8:07
and the Mega Rockstar level, where now
8:09
they're available to all cabin types on
8:12
the premium fair. So, this will give you
8:14
15 additional days to book your dining
8:17
ahead of those on the essential fair
8:19
option. So, this could mean the
8:21
difference between you snagging a large
8:23
table in one of the really popular
8:24
restaurants before anyone else. The only
8:27
people that you really be competing with
8:29
at this point are the rock stars and the
8:31
mega rockstars on board. The premium
8:33
fair, of course, is also the most
8:35
flexible option. So, you will have the
8:38
option to be able to change the main
8:40
sailor or sailor one out in your voyage.
8:43
You're not restricted to just changing
8:45
the fellow sailors in your voyage. So,
8:47
this really gives you a huge amount of
8:48
flexibility what to do with your voyage.
8:51
If you're one of those people that can't
8:52
necessarily predict whether you'll be
8:54
available or not when that voyage comes
8:56
along, you'll be able to move this
8:57
voyage along to a family member or a
8:59
friend, whomever you like. Also, with
9:01
the premium fair, you will also get
9:02
premium Wi-Fi included as well. So,
9:05
that's faster browsing for two devices
9:08
per sailor. So, you can do things like
9:10
streaming and video calling on this
9:12
premium Wi-Fi. Also, with this premium
9:14
fair, you'll be given a bar tab
9:16
allowance every day to use, too. So,
9:19
you'll be given $15 of extra bar tab per
9:22
night for you to spend on alcohol or
9:24
premium soft drinks or coffees or even
9:26
things like afternoon tea as well. And
9:28
then finally, with the premium fair, you
9:30
will also have access to priority sailor
9:33
services as well. So, as long as you
9:35
call up sailor services using the phone
9:37
number that is registered to your
9:39
booking, you'll be patched through to a
9:41
dedicated support line just for you
9:44
premium sailor. And that's a really good
9:46
and quick way to make those flexible
9:48
amendments to your booking and also make
9:50
the most of that 60-day dining booking
9:53
window as well. So, that's the first
9:55
truly brand new voyage fair choice
9:57
available. So, again, let me know what
9:59
you think about the premium fair in the
10:01
comments. Is this something that looks
10:02
interesting to you? Would you pay the
10:04
extra for that extra flexibility? Do you
10:07
think bundling the premium Wi-Fi and
10:09
that extra bar tab in there is
10:11
worthwhile? Let me know what you think.
10:12
So let's go back to our choices and see
10:15
what that looks like now when we bring
10:17
in the final choice which is actually on
10:19
the lower end of the scale. And this is
10:21
called the base fair. So as you probably
10:24
guessed by now the base fair will be
10:26
presented at a slightly discounted rate
10:28
compared to the essential fair. But with
10:31
that comes a lower level of flexibility.
10:33
So let's take a look at what that looks
10:35
like. So although you will be getting a
10:37
discounted price with the base fair, it
10:39
does come with a few limitations. The
10:41
first limitation is that you will get a
10:43
15-day dining booking window. So, this
10:46
is of course significantly reduced from
10:49
the essential and the premium fair
10:50
options. So, although you're getting
10:52
that discounted price, you do run the
10:54
risk on the base fair of not many dining
10:56
options being available to you. But, if
10:58
you're somebody that prefers the pizza
11:00
place or the galley, maybe this is a
11:02
great option for you. Or if you're
11:04
traveling as a solo or as a couple, you
11:06
might be able to get some dining options
11:08
just by walking up to the restaurants on
11:09
board. So, it may not be a bad choice at
11:12
all. One thing you do need to be careful
11:13
of is that this base fair is
11:15
non-refundable and it doesn't allow any
11:18
changes at all. So, that means whatever
11:20
details you put in at the point of
11:22
booking, so the main sailor, the fellow
11:24
sailor, the date that you're sailing on
11:26
and the cabin that you choose or the
11:28
cabin that's assigned to you, you will
11:30
not be able to change those. So, it's
11:32
kind of similar to a lock it in rate if
11:34
you've read about those on VV Insider or
11:37
you've seen them on the Virgin Voyages
11:38
website before. One other caveat here
11:40
with the base fair is that the Wi-Fi
11:43
that you receive, it is included still
11:45
on Virgin Voyages, which is great, but
11:47
they have introduced a new Wi-Fi plan
11:50
called basic Wi-Fi. And this sit on a
11:52
step below the classic Wi-Fi. So, Virgin
11:55
Voyages have said that this is great for
11:57
things like social media, messaging, and
11:59
emails, and some light browsing as well.
12:02
From what we understand, the basic Wi-Fi
12:05
will be around about half the speed of
12:07
the classic Wi-Fi. So, it will be
12:09
limited in that regard. But again, if
12:10
you're somebody who likes to sail and
12:12
put your phone to one side and just
12:14
enjoy the experience, maybe the base
12:16
fair option is for you. It's all about
12:18
the different choices and how you prefer
12:20
to plan and voyage. So, again, with the
12:23
introduction of that base fair that
12:24
we're talking about here. So, I'd love
12:26
to know what you think about the base
12:27
fair. Is this something that you could
12:29
live with if you got a discounted price,
12:31
or is it a step too far and you'd like
12:33
to have those options to book your
12:35
dining? You like the classic Wi-Fi. What
12:37
do you think? Let me know in the
12:39
comments. So, that is the third and
12:41
final voyage fair option I wanted to
12:43
introduce to you today. So, that gives
12:45
you three different options. Now, what
12:48
Virgin Voyagers expect to see in
12:50
practice is that most people will still
12:52
opt for that very classic option, the
12:54
essential fair, which is very similar to
12:57
the fair that offered today. So, they're
12:59
expecting to see about 60 or 70% of
13:01
bookings to choose the essential fair
13:03
option. So for most sailor, they won't
13:05
see much of a difference from the
13:07
booking that they're making today
13:09
compared to after the 7th of October.
13:11
But what this does do is it opens the
13:13
door for a little bit more flexibility.
13:15
So for those that don't need that level
13:18
of flexibility, so maybe you live near
13:20
one of the ports and you want to book
13:22
something last minute, maybe the base
13:23
fair is great for you. But if you're a
13:25
planner and you prefer to get everything
13:27
in order, then maybe the premium fair is
13:30
the option for you. So the way we
13:32
characterize this ourself is we think
13:34
the base fair are more for those people
13:36
that say just get me on board. I don't
13:38
necessarily care. I don't need to plan.
13:40
And the premium is more for those that
13:41
are the plan and preparers. The ones
13:44
that really want to make sure that if
13:46
they do need to move a plan around that
13:47
they can. And also maybe for those that
13:50
like to have that more inclusive
13:52
experience when they get on board,
13:53
they've got a bit of bar tab ready to
13:55
use. And they've also got their premium
13:57
Wi-Fi plan already paid for and on their
14:00
booking. So when they get on board,
14:01
they're all ready to go. So let's recap
14:03
those new Virgin Voyages voyage fair
14:06
choices options. So the first voyage
14:09
fair is the base fair. So the price of
14:11
this will be slightly discounted
14:13
compared to the essential fair. We'll
14:15
see obviously in practice what that
14:17
looks like when it's released on the 7th
14:19
of October. To get that discounted rate,
14:21
you are sacrificing flexibility. So
14:23
you're not able to make any changes to
14:25
this once you've booked it and paid for
14:27
it. Then we have the plan that Virgin
14:29
Voyages anticipate will be the most
14:30
popular fair which is the essential
14:32
fair. And with this it is more flexible
14:34
because you are able to change the
14:36
voyage date, your cabin and also the
14:39
name of any fellow sailor that will be
14:41
joining you on the voyage as well. The
14:43
pricing will be the same as we see
14:45
today. But now of course joining these
14:47
options is this new premium level. And
14:49
with premium it will be $45 extra per
14:52
person per night. But with that comes a
14:54
level of flexibility where you're able
14:57
to change the names of all the sailors
14:59
on the booking. You're able to change
15:00
your sailing date and also the cabin
15:02
you've been assigned as well. Bundled
15:04
with this, of course, you'll get the
15:06
premium Wi-Fi and you'll also get an
15:08
additional $15 of bar tab per night
15:11
added to your booking. You'll also, of
15:13
course, benefit from that priority
15:15
sailor services support as well. So,
15:17
those are all the options available in
15:19
this new Voyage Fair choices model that
15:22
Virgin Voyages are announcing today.
15:24
Again, let me know in the comments what
15:26
you think about these new pricing
15:28
options and let me know which one you're
15:30
likely to go for when you make your next
15:32
Virgin Voyages booking. So, now let's
15:34
move on to the second part of this
15:36
announcement. And this is all about
15:39
gratuitities. So, this of course is a
15:41
fairly interesting, if not controversial
15:43
topic for Virgin Voyages because part of
15:46
what makes Virgin Voyages different is
15:48
that the gratuitities were always
15:50
included as part of your voyage fair.
15:53
So, I can already hear the alarm bells
15:55
ringing around the world when I start to
15:57
mention gratuitities as they relate to
15:59
Virgin Voyages. Well, let me put your
16:01
mind at rest right away. Virgin Voyagers
16:04
made it very clear to us that they are
16:06
not adding gratuitities to the cost of
16:09
your voyage. In fact, it's quite the
16:12
opposite. What they're doing is making
16:14
things a little bit more transparent so
16:16
you can compare the price of a Virgin
16:18
Voyages cruise with the price of any
16:20
other cruise that you would sail on with
16:22
one of the other cruising brands. So,
16:24
let me explain what I mean by this. So,
16:27
if we take a look at an example fair as
16:29
it exists today. So, let's say that we
16:32
are two sailors sailing in a cabin on a
16:34
seven night voyage. And let's say the
16:36
cost of that voyage is $3,500, just for
16:39
example. Right now, that would be our
16:41
total voyage fair. That's how much our
16:43
entire voyage costs. But let's break
16:45
that down a little bit and see what that
16:47
actually made up of. So, first of all,
16:50
you're paying for your cruise fair, your
16:52
accommodation, the standard cruise
16:54
experience. Of course, these ships are
16:56
not cheap, and the Virgin Voyager ships
16:58
in particular are very, very nice, and
17:00
they cost a lot of money to run,
17:02
including the fantastic worldass
17:04
entertainment you see on board as well.
17:06
If we add to that the cost of food and
17:08
beverages, so you get your sodas,
17:10
filtered waters, all of that included on
17:12
Virgin Voyages. And the food is also
17:15
incredible. If you've been on board
17:16
before, you'll know exactly what I mean.
17:18
Then, of course, a chunk of your fair
17:20
goes towards taxes and fees as well. And
17:23
then finally, bundled in with the Virgin
17:25
Voyages fair, you have staff
17:27
gratuitities included in that cost as
17:30
well. And this is where Virgin Voyages
17:32
historically have stood out because they
17:34
don't ask anymore for those extra
17:36
gratuitities. But in reality, it always
17:39
been hidden in that big sticker price,
17:41
which has effectively inflated the cost
17:44
of a voyage to a price that isn't really
17:46
comparable to other cruise lines. And
17:48
Virgin Voyagers have pointed out that it
17:50
does in a small way diminish the value
17:52
that the crew really brings to your
17:54
voyage experience. So to address these
17:57
problems, what Virgin Voyages are going
17:59
to do is instead of using that big
18:02
sticker price to include the
18:03
gratuitities, they're going to reduce
18:05
the amount that displays on their
18:07
website to remove that gratuitities
18:09
portion and instead list gratuitities as
18:12
a separate line item. So the effect here
18:15
will be that the price of the voyage
18:16
actually doesn't change at all. So in
18:18
this example, it's still $3,500, but
18:21
crucially now the voyage fair and the
18:23
gratuitities are separated out. So from
18:26
the 7th of October, you'll start to see
18:29
the prices of voyages reducing by that
18:31
amount that gratuitities currently takes
18:33
up and it will be dealt with and paid
18:35
for separately. So let's quickly drill
18:38
into what those gratuitities actually
18:40
look like. So the cost for gratuitities
18:42
are $20 per sailor per night. So in this
18:46
example seven night voyage with two
18:48
sailors, the full gratuitity amount is
18:51
$280.
18:52
And there will be two different ways to
18:54
pay your gratuitities. So you can choose
18:56
to pay for this as effectively a package
18:59
add-on. So you're actually going to pay
19:00
for gratuitities just like you would
19:02
with any add-on. So, for example, if you
19:05
were adding bar tab or if you were
19:07
adding splash of romance, for example,
19:09
it would be very much a similar thing.
19:12
And if you choose to do it that way, it
19:14
would be $20 per night. Alternatively,
19:17
if you'd prefer to pay it while you're
19:19
sailing, so for example, if you want to
19:20
just go down to sailor services and pay
19:22
in cash, for example, or you prefer for
19:24
it to just get added on to your voyage
19:26
portfolio, which will just come off your
19:28
credit card at the end of the sailing,
19:30
the price is slightly different. So,
19:31
you'll pay $22 per night if you decide
19:34
to do it that way. Just be aware, you'll
19:36
lose that opportunity to get the
19:37
discounted rate if you don't do that in
19:40
the time where you're able to book those
19:42
add-on experiences. This normally cuts
19:44
off around 24 to 48 hours before you.
19:47
So, let's just look at a few details
19:49
when it comes to these gratuitities. So,
19:51
the first thing to mention is that the
19:52
onboard tipping experience is not going
19:55
to change. So, when you order an
19:56
alcoholic drink, for example, from the
19:58
bar, you're not going to get one of
20:00
those receipts where you have to choose
20:01
a tip and sign. That's not going to
20:03
happen on board Virgin Voyages. You're
20:05
still encouraged not to tip on board,
20:08
but you certainly can if you want to. We
20:10
have a tipping and gratuitities guide on
20:11
vinsider.com if you want to read more
20:14
about how tipping works on board the
20:16
ship. One other thing to note, and this
20:18
is something that we checked with Virgin
20:19
Voyages, is that the crew pay will stay
20:22
exactly the same. So, they're not
20:24
receiving any more, any less based on
20:26
these changes for sailors. They will not
20:28
experience any change in what they're
20:30
getting paid. And a note just to
20:32
reiterate that you can prepay for your
20:34
voyage gratuitities at any point up to
20:37
the point where you sail as long as
20:39
those options for those add-ons are
20:41
still available. So, just to be on the
20:42
safe side, I always recommend doing it
20:45
at least 48 hours before you make sure
20:48
you don't lose out on that discounted
20:49
rate. Another note here, and this is
20:51
something that Virgin Voyagers are very
20:53
proud of, is that the amount that you
20:55
pay for your gratuitities will not
20:57
change depending on which cabin type or
21:00
which suite you're in. So whether you
21:02
are mega rockstar in a massive suite or
21:04
whether you're in an inside locketin
21:06
cabin, you still pay the same
21:08
gratuitities. And likewise, the fair
21:11
choice that you've chosen. So from those
21:13
fair choices that I talked about earlier
21:14
in this video, doesn't matter which one
21:16
you pick, you always pay the same
21:18
gratuitities. It makes no difference at
21:20
all. So that's a lot to go through.
21:22
Let's quickly recap what changes are
21:25
coming into fort from the 7th of
21:26
October. So first of all, we have our
21:29
voyage fair choices. These are brand new
21:32
fair options available for every sailor
21:34
on Virgin Voyages that are sailing in
21:37
the sea terrace or below cabin types. So
21:40
remember, if you're rockstar or a mega
21:42
rockstar, you will just continue to book
21:44
on the standard fair just as before. But
21:47
for everyone else, you now choose the
21:49
flexibility and perks level that you're
21:52
looking for. You will choose between a
21:54
discounted rate going for the base
21:56
option, in which case you can't make any
21:59
changes to your bookings and you get
22:01
basic Wi-Fi and a 15-day dining window.
22:04
Alternatively, you go for the classic
22:06
option, which is called the essential
22:08
option. And in this way, you pay the
22:11
normal price. You are able to make
22:13
changes to your cabin, your sailing
22:15
date, and your fellow sailor, but you're
22:18
not able to change the main sailor on
22:20
your booking. And with this, you'll have
22:22
a 45day dining booking window. Or
22:24
finally, you can choose the new premium
22:27
option, which is an additional $45 per
22:29
sailor per night. And that's the most
22:32
flexible option where you can change the
22:34
names of all the sailors on the booking.
22:36
You can change the sailing date and your
22:38
cabin as well. You'll also get premium
22:40
Wi-Fi during your voyage. And you'll
22:42
also have $15 of Barab credit per night
22:46
as well. And you have the extra bonus on
22:48
this level of having access to priority
22:51
sailor services, too. And then finally,
22:54
we have the announcement that
22:55
gratuitities will now be shown
22:58
separately to your voyage fair, and they
23:00
will be charged at $20 per night per
23:03
sailor as a prevoyage add-on. or if you
23:06
prefer to pay your voyage gratuitities
23:08
when you get on board, you'll pay $22
23:11
per sailor per night. So, that's
23:13
everything from this big announcement
23:14
from Virgin Voyages today. So, I hope
23:17
we've done a good job of spelling all of
23:19
this out for you. These are fairly
23:21
complex changes that are going into
23:22
place for Virgin Voyages. So, it would
23:24
be really useful if you could let us
23:26
know whether we've helped you understand
23:28
this or not. And also, it'd be really
23:30
nice to hear from you what you think of
23:32
these changes from Virgin Voyages and
23:35
how it might change your booking
23:36
preferences in the future. So, do leave
23:38
us a comment letting us know what you
23:41
think of these big changes. And of
23:43
course, if we've been any help at all,
