Virgin Voyages’ Comedy Fest returns in 2025 with Jack Whitehall headlining the UK sailing from Portsmouth.
When Virgin Voyages fans asked for more comedy added to the onboard lineup with the LOLz Supper Club series and Festival Stage of rotating comedy-driven residencies. Last year, Virgin Voyages introduced Comedy Fest in the UK to an overwhelmingly positive reception. Following the sold-out success of the 2024 edition currently sailing on Resilient Lady from Portsmouth, the festival will return in 2025 with two special sailings on Valiant Lady and Scarlet Lady.

Comedy Fest is back by popular demand and returning to British shores with a six-night sailing departing on August 30, 2025, from Portsmouth. Headlining the festival is Jack Whitehall, the charismatic host of The BRIT Awards. Known for his hilarious Netflix series, sold-out stand-up tours, and starring roles in films like Jungle Cruise alongside Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt, Jack Whitehall is bringing his signature comedy to the Virgin Voyages stage.
2025 Virgin Voyages “Comedy Fest” Dates
Valiant Lady – Departs August 10, 2025
This five-night round-trip voyage, Mayan Sol, departs from Miami, Florida, and will feature top U.S. comedy acts. No acts have been announced at this time. The itinerary includes stops at:
- Costa Maya, Mexico – Explore ancient Mayan ruins or relax on pristine beaches.
- Beach Club at Bimini, Bahamas – Spend the day at this exclusive beachside retreat with poolside cabanas and crystal-clear waters.
Scarlet Lady – Departs August 30, 2025
Departing from Portsmouth, UK, this six-night cruise will feature top British comedians. The itinerary includes:
- La Coruña, Spain – Discover the historic Tower of Hercules or enjoy the local seafood.
- Bilbao, Spain – Home to the Guggenheim Museum and rich Basque culture.
