After a week of rumours and speculation, Virgin Voyages® have announced the itineraries for the 2024/2025 season. This sees a return to the Caribbean and Mediterranean but also adds new sailings to Northern Europe including the UK, Amsterdam, Norway and Iceland.
Virgin Voyages announced on 7 September 2024, at 16:30 GMT, that the anticipated launch of its newest ship, the Brilliant Lady, originally slated to set sail on December 24th, will be postponed.
A recently leaked magazine advertisement has shed light on Virgin Voyages’ long-anticipated plans for the summer of 2024. According to the leaked details, Virgin’s Resilient Lady is set to operate two new cruises next summer, concluding its Barcelona to London trip at the UK port of Portsmouth.
Last Saturday’s We Fancy (2 September 2023) on board Resilient Lady marked the final performance for Abi the Hostess as part of Resilient’s first Happenings Cast. With all of the other Happenings roles being replaced towards the end of August, Abi’s departure makes the transition to the second cast complete.
Virgin Voyages’ inaugural ship, Scarlet Lady, set to dock in Reykjavik next year, according to port listings. The cruise line’s new itineraries are likely to be confirmed next week.
Virgin Voyages has once again delighted its fans by unveiling 2024 Virgin Celebration Voyage. Continuing a seemingly annual tradition, this special voyage is slated to start on August 30th to September 4th.
