Cabin 11154A is Designated as Accessible
This is an accessible cabin. This means it is specifically designed for sailors with disabilities including wheelchair users. It is larger than a standard cabin and has a number of features to aid accessibility. These include:
Entrance doorway to bathroom is wider; 33.46 inches (850mm)
Turning circle of 60 inches (1525mm) in bathroom
Grab bars surrounding toilet and shower
Folding shower bench
Rain-head showers with handheld spray shower
If you can safely transfer from your wheelchair and walk around the cabin you might also find cabins designated as ‘ambulatory’ suitable. Ambulatory cabins are positioned directly from the elevators / lifts so a wheelchair can be easily manoeuvred into the cabin. Guests are expected to transfer into the cabin from their wheelchair.
