Virgin Voyages has revealed that Nile Rodgers & CHIC will lead the lineup for the 2026 Red Hot Sailing Club Voyage. This special sailing is the next evolution of the cruise line’s Celebration Voyages, which this year featured Melanie C, Kathy Sledge and Nicky Jam.

A Music Icon at Sea

Nile Rodgers has spent more than 40 years shaping the sound of disco, funk and pop. With CHIC, he delivered era-defining hits including Le Freak and Good Times, and as a producer and collaborator, he helped create chart-topping tracks for Madonna, David Bowie, Duran Duran and Daft Punk. CHIC’s music has also appeared on Virgin Records releases, adding an extra connection to Virgin’s musical legacy.

Fresh from a standout performance at Glastonbury in 2025, Nile Rodgers & CHIC will bring their high-energy set and timeless hits to Brilliant Lady for what promises to be an unforgettable night at sea.

While Nile Rodgers & Chic take top billing, the Red Hot Sailing Club Voyage will feature additional guest performances still to be announced. Expect a festival-style program blending live music, legendary parties, and appearances from Virgin family members.

The voyage will also feature interactive workshops and talks, including sessions with Virgin Voyages CEO Nirmal Saverimuttu. He will share behind-the-scenes insights into the ships, upcoming experiences, and the brand’s plans for the future. Other Virgin leaders and brand partners will host events throughout the voyage.
