Lola’s Library

Lola’s Library combines elements of a cabaret show with a club night, debuting with Resilient Lady in May 2023. During Lola’s Library, your host, Lola, along with a colorful ensemble of characters will guide you through their “book collection” in three unique chapters. This event at The Manor spans over two and a half hours, showcasing a diverse variety show with singing, dancing, acrobatics, and more.

Event Structure

Lola’s Library is divided into three distinct chapters with a total show time of 90 minutes. Whether you engage with a single chapter or stay for the whole event is up to you. Lola’s Library is an all night experience designed to come and go as you please however you can sit down through the entire event and usually will culminate in an after party.

How to Attend

Lola’s Library cannot be booked in advance like some other events at The Manor. The show is designed for flexible attendance, so you can join as you wish. If you plan to stay for the entire event, it’s recommended to arrive at least half an hour before doors open, as a queue usually forms. Often, only standing room is available, which suits the bite-sized nature of the show. The performance will typically be hosted multiple times during your voyage, so don’t worry if you catch just one chapter in a single night—you can easily experience more later on your journey.

Meet Lola, Dewey, and Mary – your guides through the genres.

Lola, the enigmatic host, leads with a hint of mystery. Accompanied by Dewey, the knowledgeable assistant, and Mary, the charismatic maid, they curate a collection of stories ranging from fairy tales to crime and horror. Each chapter (45 mins of the show) of the library holds a different world, inviting you to explore and immerse yourself in a range of genres in this show.

Within Lola’s Library, various performers will amaze you with some of the best acrobatics in the industry to the amazing singing voice of your stars Lola and Mary. Characters such as strip teasers and bandits appear unexpectedly, adding an element of surprise to the event! This is a must see within The Manor on Resilient Lady, for the best seats arrive up to half an hour before the scheduled time !
