Overview of The Manor on Virgin Voyages

The Manor is Virgin Voyages’ main late night entertainment venue. It spans Decks 6 and 7, and it changes tone throughout the evening. Early on, it can feel like a lounge. Later, it becomes one of the busiest nightlife spots on the ship.

It is inspired by Richard Branson’s early music industry days, and it is built for both watching and joining in. Many sailors end up here more than once during a sailing because the lineup changes night to night.

Two Level Layout

The Manor is split across two decks, which gives it flexibility depending on what’s happening that night.

Deck 6

Deck 6 is the main floor. This is where you’ll find the dance floor and the larger bar. It is also where most performances take place, including DJ nights, themed parties, and special events. If a popular show is scheduled, arriving a little early usually helps.

Deck 7

Deck 7 wraps around the venue with balcony seating and a smaller bar. It is a good option if you want to watch from above, or if you prefer to avoid the busiest part of the crowd. The view down to the floor also makes it a strong choice for photos during shows.

Seating Options

The Manor works well for different types of nights out because seating varies across the venue.

  • Shared tables that suit social nights and hosted events
  • Smaller lounge areas for quieter conversations
  • Balcony bar style seating with a clear view of the floor below

The Glitter Corridor

On Deck 6, The Manor connects to the Casino via the glitter corridor. This mirrored walkway is one of the most photographed spots on board, so you will often see people stopping here before or after events.

Entertainment and Events

The Manor hosts a wide mix of programming across a sailing. What you see can vary by ship, itinerary, and night, but it often includes DJ sets, themed parties, live performances, and hosted events.

Some sailings also use this space for a dinner show or a special ticketed experience. For the most current lineup, check our events guide here: Virgin Voyages Events.

Scarlet Night Afterparty

The Manor plays a key role on Scarlet Night because it is home to the Scarlet Night Afterparty. After the main Scarlet Night moments around the ship, many guests head here for late night music and dancing.

If you want a full breakdown of what to expect, see our dedicated guide: Scarlet Night Afterparty.

Overview

If you want a proper late night venue on board, The Manor is the one. It works whether you want to dance, grab a drink, or just watch the entertainment from the balcony. If you are planning your evenings in advance, it is worth checking the schedule because some nights get very busy.

    Hi,
I’m going on a 16-night itinerary soon on Brilliant Lady and I just found out my cabin is directly beneath the manor. I’m not a party-goer, so I know I’ll be struggling to sleep at night. Do you know if the Manor is open every night on longer voyages such as this one or do I have a chance at getting at least few nights of good rest?

No they’ll have some dj nights in On the Rocks or do a band night that’ll end around midnight 🙂
