In 2024, Virgin Voyages brought back its annual Celebration Voyages for the second year in a row, offering sailors an unforgettable experience that highlighted all things Virgin. These voyages were filled with exclusive events, insightful talks, and unforgettable performances, cementing their place as one of the most anticipated events in the cruising calendar.

Exclusive Events and Activities

Each voyage boasted a range of special activities designed to entertain and engage sailors. From themed parties to hosted cocktail hours, there was always something exciting happening on board. One of the standout events was the ‘Let’s Set Sail’ Sailaway Party, hosted by Virgin Voyages CEO Nirmal Saverimuttu with some eager sailors dragging Nirmal into the pool!

In addition to parties, sailors could take part in charity raffles supporting Virgin Unite. Prizes ranged from Virgin-branded swag to free voyages and even luxury hotel stays, all contributing to a good cause. The celebration voyages also featured exclusive Sailing Club events, giving loyal sailors access to special perks and behind-the-scenes activities.

Sailors also heard from prominent Virgin executives and astronauts. Talks by leaders such as Virgin Voyages CEO Nirmal Saverimuttu, Virgin Galactic astronauts Ron Rosano and Colin Bennett, and former Virgin Atlantic CEO David Tait offered insights into space exploration, brand strategy, and leadership.
