Brilliant Lady is an upcoming addition to the Virgin Voyages fleet, anticipated to elevate the cruise experience to new heights with its modern design and captivating itineraries sometime in September 5th 2025.

Construction
Planning
On top of the original three-ship plan, Brilliant Lady was ordered on October 31st, 2018. This ship is the only one in the fleet that can fit through the Panama Canal due to its design change that adjusted the position of the lifeboats.
Delivery
Brilliant Lady was floated out on November 25th 2022. On February 12th 2024 the ship left the Fincantieri Genova Shipyard.
Naming and Debut
Brilliant Lady was officially named on April 25th 2022 with her mermaid icon being revealed by us on February 23rd 2024.
Delayed Launch
Brilliant Lady, Virgin Voyage’s fourth ship was delayed on September 7th 2023, the previous MerMaiden was planned for December 23rd 2023.
Maiden Voyage
Brilliant Lady will launch in September 5th 2025 following an announcement on May 1st 2025 revealing the North American destinations that the ship will sail from in her debut year. Featured home ports including New York, Miami, Los Angeles & Seattle. Four “maiden” voyages will take place across the US.
