Virgin Voyages Cancels Three Europe 2026 Marvelous Voyages

Virgin Voyages has made changes to three Europe-based voyages in 2026, adjusting itineraries originally planned aboard Valiant Lady.

Virgin Voyages has canceled to three of its longer European itineraries in June and July 2026. These adjustments affect selected Marvelous Voyages, each originally designed as extended 14- and 15-night journeys with unique port combinations.

The decision appears to reflect demand, as these sailings were priced higher per night than other Virgin Voyages options, and interest may not have matched expectations.

Remaining Marvelous Voyages Unaffected

These itineraries continue as planned, with the two August sailings built around the 2026 solar eclipse and the June voyage offering an extended Mediterranean journey including overnight stays and lesser-visited ports.

That’s a bummer about the Emerald Isles one, we were excited to book that one next year as it went to a lot of places in the UK and Ireland we wanted to see. I hope they offer a similar itinerary soon!

That’s a shame about Baltic wonders & Nordic nights. Was thinking of booking it soon as the ports of call were perfect as I have never been to most of them before. Plus it’s local boarding for me too! I do hope they add some different sailings from Portsmouth now instead.

  3. Jo says:

I feel the UK prices are very high for what they are, and not presented as value for money. In fact you can go to the Carribean cheaper even with flights. Yes I’m from the UK! 🙄

  4. Claire says:

OMG, I was looking at these exact 3 for 2026 to do back-to-backs. I was even wondering if they would be the 2026 summer pass. Back to the drawing board now.

  5. Matt Sutton says:

Yikes! The Scotland and Ireland one is perhaps not so surprising as it is very similar to the eclipse cruise and if you are going to go around the UK like that you might as well go up to Iceland at the same time. The other one seemed quite interesting and different to the usual offerings sailing from Portsmouth. I would have done it if I wasn’t already invested in the eclipse sailing. I wonder if there will be other itineraries out of Portsmouth instead of whether they will just be less UK sailings in 2026. Speaking of which when you posted about itinerary changes you got me, I thought the eclipse was going to be included.
