What are Diamonds?

Diamonds are our way of saying thank you. As part of the Red Diamond Club, you’ll earn Diamonds every time you book a Virgin Voyages sailing through VV Insider. These Diamonds can be exchanged for exclusive onboard Gifts. These are small tokens of appreciation to enhance your future voyages.

How Do I Earn Diamonds?

You earn 1 Diamond for every $600 (or currency equivalent) of qualifying final voyage fare booked with VV Insider. Government taxes, port fees and pre-paid add-ons will not count toward the total.

When Do Diamonds Become Available?

Diamonds become available on the day your sailing begins. Before that, they’ll show as “upcoming” on your account.

Can I Use Diamonds Right Away?

Diamonds can only be redeemed once they become available, which happens on the calendar day your cruise starts.

What Can I Redeem Diamonds For?

Right now, Diamonds can be redeemed for onboard credit-style Gifts to use on future sailings. These might be spa treatments, drinks, or other onboard experiences. The range of perks may expand in the future.

How Many Diamonds Can I Use Per Cruise?

You can redeem up to $100 worth of Gifts per sailing. Requests are reviewed individually, and we’ll confirm eligibility with you directly.

Do Diamonds Expire?

At the moment, Diamonds don’t expire. If that changes, we’ll give at least 30 days notice on our website.

Can I Share Or Gift My Diamonds?

Diamonds are linked to the lead sailor (sailor 1) on the booking and can’t be transferred or shared except in very limited situations where you’ve sailed multiple times with someone else through VV Insider and are now the lead sailor. We’ll look at each case individually and need confirmation from both parties to transfer.

What Happens If I Cancel Or Transfer My Booking?

If your booking is canceled, fully refunded, or moved to another agent before the sail date, the Diamonds linked to it will be removed.

How Do I Redeem Diamonds?

Just login to your account and select the option to redeem. Make sure you submit a request at least 14 days before your next cruise sets sail. We’ll confirm what’s possible and add it to your booking.
