Good Points About Cabin 8230Z
pro
Has an iconic red hammock
Cabin 8230Z has an iconic red hammock on the balcony. This is a great place to relax and enjoy the view.
pro
Has a glass balcony
Cabin 8230Z’s balcony railings are made of glass. As opposed to some cabins closer to the edges of the deck plan that have steel railings. This glass railing allows for a better view of the ocean when sitting down.
Bad Points About Cabin 8230Z
con
Walk to elevators / lifts
This cabin is farther from the elevators and lifts than others, so it might take a bit longer to reach the onboard venues. However, Virgin Voyages ships are not as large as some other cruise ships.
The ’Z’ in the cabin number means it is on the starboard side of the ship (right of the ship if you’re looking straight forward). This can sometimes be important if you’re doing a repositioning voyage like a Transatlantic crossing as it will determine if you will have the sunshine or not.

About Cabin Category ‘Limited View Sea Terrace’
Located near the lower deck activities, the Limited View Sea Terrace provides a good balance of price and balcony space. While the cabin may have a partially obstructed view due to lifeboats or mechanical equipment, its proximity to lower deck activities makes it a practical option for guests who want easy access to onboard entertainment. This cabin has all the same modern features as a standard Sea Terrace.
