The ’Z’ in the cabin number means it is on the starboard side of the ship (right of the ship if you’re looking straight forward). This can sometimes be important if you’re doing a repositioning voyage like a Transatlantic crossing as it will determine if you will have the sunshine or not.

About Cabin Category ‘XL Sea Terrace’

Designed for guests seeking extra space, the Sea Terrace XL offers an expanded living area, about 30% more than the standard terraces. It includes a spacious bathroom with separate chambers for the toilet and rainshower for additional privacy. The double vanity and extra storage cater to the needs of guests who prefer more room for their personal belongings. Of note some of these cabins may not include the iconic hammock and have metal balconies due to their proximity to the front or rear of the ship.

  1. Jodi Jackson says:

I just stayed in this room for 4 nights. It is above the Red Room which has some shows at night. You hear the lower range of the music like the base sounds. I was out of the room so it didn’t bother me. I wouldn’t stay there if you go to bed early or anytime before 11:00 pm. I’ve heard you can hear the anchor release from this room but that’s only when using tenders. We always went to port so mornings were quiet.

  2. Rob Sammons says:

    • Located near the ship’s anchor, which can result in noise during docking at ports.
    • Positioned above the Red Room, leading to bass noise when the venue is in use (typically in the afternoons and evenings).
    • Noise from the Red Room usually ends by 11 PM.
    • Overall, not a bad cabin, but these noise factors should be considered.
