‘My Next Virgin Voyage’ Post-Voyage Offer Returns
Virgin Voyages’ Post-Voyage Offer, which was discontinued earlier this year, is back! The revamped My Next Virgin Voyage offer includes sailor loot.
Virgin Voyages has brought back the My Next Virgin Voyage Post-Voyage Offer, allowing sailors to take advantage of the placeholder offer after disembarkation. Earlier this year the post-voyage offer was removed when the program was changed. While the onboard My Next Virgin Voyage offer includes a discount on the voyage fare, the post-voyage version focuses solely on onboard credit.
How the Post-Voyage Offer Works
After completing a cruise, sailors have 14 days to place a $300 deposit to secure the offer on the new post voyage offer website. This deposit acts as a placeholder and will be taken off the price of their next cruise. The on board Sailor Loot amount is determined by the length of the future voyage:
- 4–5-night voyages: $150 Sailor Loot
- 6–8-night voyages: $200 Sailor Loot
- 9+ night voyages: $250 Sailor Loot
The credit can be used for various onboard experiences, from spa treatments to specialty cocktails, giving sailors added value on their next trip.
Key Differences Between Onboard and Post-Voyage Offers
One notable difference with the reintroduced post-voyage offer is the absence of a fare discount. Unlike the onboard My Next Virgin Voyage program, which reduces the cost of the future cruise by a certain amount depending on the number of nights. The post-voyage version focuses entirely on rewarding sailors with onboard spending money.
Important Terms to Know
- The deposit must be made within 14 days after disembarkation.
- Sailors have two years from the deposit dat e to book and sail.
- If no booking is made within the two-year period, the deposit and onboard credit will be forfeited.
