New Food Menus Coming to Extra Virgin & Gunbae in 2025

Virgin Voyages is setting the table for something new in 2025, with a fresh lineup of flavors coming to two of its most popular eateries: Extra Virgin and Gunbae. Whether it’s a rich Italian pasta or a Korean BBQ feast, sailors can look forward to new culinary experiences as previously promised.

Extra Virgin’s Refresh – Arriving in May

Extra Virgin, Virgin Voyages’ Italian-inspired trattoria, is introducing a wave of new dishes that blend traditional flavors with modern touches. Known for its handmade pastas and fresh ingredients, the updated menu will feature:

• Salmon Crudo: A dish featuring radish, red onion, and mandarin sauce (GF).
• Braised Lamb Girella: Braised lamb with a parmesan crisp, rosemary, and sherry jus.
• Young Chicken Cacciatore: A chicken dish with fennel, olive, pepper, and mushrooms.
• New pasta creations: Fresh, house-made pasta with unique sauces and textures.
• Arancini: Crispy, golden risotto balls stuffed with flavorful fillings and served with a rich sauce.
• Seafood Risotto: A creamy, comforting dish packed with fresh seafood and aromatic flavors.
• Roasted Monkfish: A new seafood entrée with bold flavors.

These additions aim to elevate the dining experience, bringing even more variety to Extra Virgin’s already extensive menu. Arriving in May 2025.

Gunbae Menu Gets a Makeover – Launching in July

Starting with Eat & Drink Festival, the only Korean BBQ at sea is refreshing its menu. Gunbae will still keep its interactive grilling experience but refresh its menu with a mix of classic and modern Korean flavors. Highlights include:

• Oi Muchim: Salted cucumber, avocado, and pepper threads (GF).
• Shrimp Kimbap Rolls: Crispy rice, black garlic, and fresh shrimp wrapped in seaweed.
•  Bulgogi Fire Meat: Marinated ribeye and onions with extra spice and depth.
• Bo Ssam: Whole roasted pork butt served with oysters and caviar (This is likely an uncharge Treat Yourself Item).

Gunbae remains a lively, social dining spot where guests can watch as your server grills at the table! Arriving in July 2025.

More to Come for Brilliant Lady’s Debut

While Extra Virgin and Gunbae’s updates are set to roll out across the fleet, Virgin Voyages has also hinted at more culinary surprises for the upcoming launch of Brilliant Lady. Details are still under wraps, but the brand promises announcements in the months ahead.
