Exciting news for Virgin Voyages sailors on board Scarlet Lady: a new cabaret show, “Love Love Love with The Hostess,” is debuting this Sunday, June 23rd 2024, at 8:15 PM according to the event line-up. This new show promises a blend of music and interactivity, continuing the ship’s tradition of top class entertainment within The Manor.
The Original Show: “The Hostess Sings Her Secrets“
“The Hostess Sings Her Secrets” first premiered in 2021. This cabaret-style show, hosted in The Manor, guided audiences through the art of hosting a dinner party. It featured a post-modern jukebox style, created and performed by the original Abi the Hostess. The show became a favorite among guests for its unique blend of instruction and entertainment.
Bidding Farewell to the Show
Michie, the current hostess from Cast 8, recently bid farewell to the show on Instagram during her final week on board. She expressed her gratitude for closing “The Hostess Sings Her Secrets” on Scarlet Lady and thanked the tech team and dancers who performed with her over the past few contracts.
Introducing “Love Love Love with The Hostess”
The new show, “Love Love Love with The Hostess,” will be a fresh take on the cabaret format. Janelle, the newest hostess and a member of Scarlet Lady’s Happenings Cast 9, will lead this interactive and musical performance. This show is set to bring a new dynamic to the ship’s entertainment offerings, while still being hosted in The Manor. In May 2024, “It’s a Rock Show-ke,” a mass karaoke event, debuted to enthusiastic reviews. These changes indicate that Virgin Voyages is looking to refresh the entertainment of their oldest ship.
