This high-energy comedy game show takes place in The Manor and is styled after a camp 1970s Saturday-night television show. The format combines live improvisation, trivia, mini-challenges, and audience interaction, creating a slightly different experience each time it is performed.
Created and produced by Elliot David Hawker of SUBMERGE Experience Studio, this event is a great example of how the personalities of the cast are highlighted on Virgin Voyages.
As the trivia and challenges unfold, a member of the cast takes detailed notes on interactions and events happening in the room. Later in the show, players are quizzed on these details, which is why they are told to “Pay Attention!”
Four audience members are invited on stage to take part in the game show. As with most Virgin Voyages entertainment, participation is optional, and no one is forced to join in. Those who volunteer to play on stage have the chance to win a free beverage token.
Audience members seated near the stage may also be invited to hold up “Applause” and “Pay Attention” signs, adding to the retro television-show atmosphere and the feel of a live studio audience.
