Ariya by Razzle Dazzle is an Indian restaurant exclusively available on Valiant Lady following the ship’s 2.0 glow up. The restaurant transforms the Razzle Dazzle space each evening, while the venue continues to serve breakfast and brunch as Razzle Dazzle during the day.

Ariya introduces Indian cuisine to the Virgin Voyages fleet, with dishes inspired by regional flavors across India and a bar program featuring spice-inspired cocktails.

Concept and Partnership

Ariya was developed in partnership with Indie Culinaire and celebrity chef Maneet Chauhan. The concept focuses on traditional Indian techniques alongside modern presentation, with dishes inspired by street food, coastal cooking, tandoori dishes, curries, and biryanis from across India.

The restaurant’s name references Ariya, Sir Richard Branson’s great great grandmother, who was originally from the coastal town of Cuddalore in Tamil Nadu.

Ariya continues Virgin Voyages’ evolving Razzle Dazzle concept, where the venue serves breakfast and brunch during the day before transforming into a different dining experience at night.

Dining Experience

During the day the venue operates as Razzle Dazzle, serving breakfast and brunch with several Indian-inspired additions. In the evening the restaurant transforms into Ariya, offering a dinner menu focused on Indian cuisine.

The interior design draws inspiration from India’s spice markets, with warm tones, layered textures, booth seating, shared tables, and smaller dining nooks throughout the venue.

Where You Can Find Ariya

Ariya by Razzle Dazzle is currently exclusive to Valiant Lady following her 2.0 glow up on Deck 5.

The venue operates as Razzle Dazzle during breakfast and brunch hours before transforming into Ariya for dinner service each evening.

We’re not booked onto Valliant Lady, but, I’m not overly impressed with this “Indian Inspired” menu.
We visit India a lot, 1,2,4 months at a time. There isn’t anything really exciting on this menu.
I am 99.9% certain, the Chefs on board, could do a much better menu!!

You may travel to India, but the chef IS Indian. We spoke with her about the menu and tried some of the food on the Red Hot voyage. It comes from the food she grew up with. Someone complained the Pani Puri she makes isn’t called Pani Puri. It IS where she is from. The food was excellent and I’m glad like all VV food, it is a “take on” a particular food with creative changes. She is a TV chef, after all. Whether a sculptor, painter, or chef, you learn a lot when th le artist explains their concept. She worked with VV chef Levi and his team on how to prepare these dishes at sea. So we are excited. And my wife is an excellent Indian food chef.
You cant please everyone. I saw a comment the day of the announcement “I was hoping for another steak place!” 😉

Agreed, you can’t please everyone. It sounds very exciting to me and I eat a fair bit of Indian food (though I’m not from India). The fit-out of Ariya reminds me of Dishoom restaurants and they’re very popular. Looking forward to tasting!
