Scarlet Lady April Voyage Canceled for Private Charter
A Scarlet Lady Caribbean voyage in April has been canceled for a charter, with sailors offered rebooking options, and a new 3-night Bimini sailing will go on sale soon.
Virgin Voyages has confirmed that Scarlet Lady’s April 19, 2026, 7-night Caribbean voyage has been canceled after the ship was secured for a Summit at Sea private charter. These charters are rare, but from time to time they do happen, and Virgin Voyages says no other sailings are impacted.
The original itinerary was set to sail from Miami to Puerto Plata, San Juan, and Tortola before returning to Miami.
What’s Changing
For April 2026, Scarlet Lady’s schedule will now be split into two separate voyages:
- 3-night Miami & Bimini Beach Club Voyage – Departs April 19, 2026, visiting The Beach Club at Bimini before returning to Miami. This sailing will be available to book from August 21, 2025, and offers sailors a unique short break with Virgin Voyages. Contact us for more details!
- 4-night Summit at Sea Charter – Departs April 22, 2026, and is exclusively for the Summit at Sea event.

Options for Affected Sailors
Virgin Voyages is contacting sailors booked on the original 7-night voyage with two options:
Option 1 – Rebook with price guarantee and Sailor Loot
Bookings may be moved to the April 18, 2026, San Juan Sunrises & Dominican Dreams voyage on Resilient Lady in the same cabin category, with original fares and promotions protected. Bar Tab bonuses will carry over.
As an additional gesture, sailors in Mega Rockstar and Rockstar Suites will receive $300 in Sailor Loot. The amount for Sea Terrace cabins has not yet been confirmed but is likely $150.
If the new voyage is priced lower, the difference will be refunded. Sailors can also choose another 7-night Caribbean voyage and still receive their applicable Sailor Loot with price protection.

Option 2 – Full refund or Future Voyage Credit
Sailors who do not wish to rebook now can request a full refund or 100% Future Voyage Credit to use on a future sailing.
Looking Ahead
While it is rare for a Virgin Voyages sailing to be replaced by a private charter, the line says it works to ensure affected sailors are given options. The new 3-night Miami & Bimini Beach Club Voyage will provide a short, unique way to experience Scarlet Lady, while rebooking choices mean sailors can still enjoy a Caribbean sailing with their original perks protected.
