A new cabin type debuts on Brilliant Lady. The Sea Terrace: (Slightly) Smaller Balcony offers a reworked outdoor space while keeping the same interior as other Sea Terraces.

What’s Different

The key change is the balcony size. Standard Sea Terraces have about 40 square feet, but this version measures around 9 to 11 square feet. The smaller space allows for movement but not enough room to fit a chair.

These cabins also feature a regulation door instead of a sliding door, which means it cannot be left propped open.

Two Hammocks Instead of One

This category is the only one on the ship with two hammocks. They are sitting hammock chairs, designed to face each other, with a small table between them.

Location on the Ship

All of these cabins are found on Deck 8 near the main elevator bank. For exact placement, check the deck plan.

Limited View Considerations

The balconies are partially blocked by lifeboats, similar to Limited View Sea Terraces, though the obstruction is generally less significant.

Interior Space

Inside, nothing changes. These cabins keep the same layout, bathroom, and bedding as a standard Sea Terrace, so the only real difference is outside.

I’m been allocated slightly smaller Sea Terrace on deck 10 – cabin 10366Z on Brilliant Lady . Be good to understand if this is the same.

    1. Rob Sammons says:

This is equivalent to a Limited View Sea Terrace no double hammock https://vvinsider.com/cabin/10366a/

  2. Brian says:

Life boats tucked in closer for Panama Canal capable ship.

  3. Angela Johnson says:

So are we gonna be looking at the Life boats the entire cruise instead of the Ocean.🤦🏽‍♀️

    1. Jon says:

Its less of a lifeboat view compared to the other ships in these cabins on deck 8.

  4. Darrell Byrd says:

I have one booked for December through VVInsider. My friend who is going would stay in the one so I opted for 2 of them.

    1. Kim says:

Same with us! I didn’t know they were limited view either! 🙁

  5. CaraLynn says:

Is there enough room to lay in the hammock, or just sit?

    1. Sherrille says:

Sit. If you try to lie down, your head hits the divider wall behind you. There’s not much room to stretch out.

  6. Deborah Smith says:

Yikes!! Hope there’s a significant price decrease for these cabins!

  7. Ryan says:

They look a very similar size to Regal Princess & Britannia

  8. Claire GM says:

Are you sure they are only on deck 8?
I’ve been given one on the March Panama sailing on deck 9.

    1. Rob Sammons says:

The ones on deck 9 we aren’t too sure but believe these are basically Sea Terraces with metal balconies

      1. Claire GM says:

Sea Terrace: (Slightly) Smaller Balcony -Deck 9, seem to have been mis-labelled and but happily also mis-priced. My Sea Terrace: (Slightly) Smaller Balcony on Deck 9, has a metal balcony, 2 chairs and a table, and a red hanging chair. Unobstructed view deep balcony. Very happy.

        1. Rob Sammons says:

Good to know. Since these were re labeled as Limited View Sea Terrace on the other ships

        2. Sara Hull says:

What room # are you in? I’ve been given a slightly smaller Sea Terrace 9374A on Brilliant in September. I was looking forward to a regular hammock, but like the idea of unobstructed view.
