Virgin Voyages has announced yet another change to a Valiant Lady sailing, marking the third itinerary adjustment in June. The latest update affects the Dominican Daze departure on June 20th due to engine maintenance.

This follows earlier changes to both an early‑June sailing — including last week’s update to the mid-June Valiant Lady voyage — and now also the upcoming Dominican Daze itinerary. While these kinds of updates are usually rare, seeing three shifts in a single month is a notable trend.

Newly Affected: Dominican Daze (June 20, 2025)

The Dominican Daze sailing departing June 20 has also been revised due to ongoing engine maintenance. The ship will now visit Grand Turk instead of Puerto Plata, and will arrive at The Beach Club at Bimini one hour earlier than originally scheduled.

Original Itinerary: Dominican Daze

  • Day 1 – Friday, June 20: Miami, Florida
  • Day 2 – Saturday, June 21: At Sea
  • Day 3 – Sunday, June 22: Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic (10:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
  • Day 4 – Monday, June 23: At Sea
  • Day 5 – Tuesday, June 24: The Beach Club at Bimini, Bahamas (9:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
  • Day 6 – Wednesday, June 25: Miami, Florida

Updated Itinerary: Grand Turk & Bimini

  • Day 1 – Friday, June 20: Miami, Florida
  • Day 2 – Saturday, June 21: At Sea
  • Day 3 – Sunday, June 22: Grand Turk (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
  • Day 4 – Monday, June 23: At Sea
  • Day 5 – Tuesday, June 24: The Beach Club at Bimini, Bahamas (8:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
  • Day 6 – Wednesday, June 25: Miami, Florida

Virgin Voyages acknowledges that some may have been looking forward to Puerto Plata and apologises for the change. Any Shore Things planned there will be automatically refunded, and new excursions for Grand Turk will be available to book in the Virgin Voyages app starting June 18.

If sailors have made independent plans in Puerto Plata, Virgin encourages them to reach out to those vendors to cancel. As always, they recommend keeping an eye on your inbox for the most up-to-date voyage information.

It is unclear if more voyages will be affected in the future.
