Virgin Voyages has shared additional detail about its 2026 eclipse themed cruises and the onboard programming planned around the summer solar eclipse. For a limited time these voyages even include additional Sailor Loot.
Onboard Eclipse Highlights
Virgin Voyages plans to bring space themed programming to the eclipse period so sailors can spend time learning more about the eclipse that will take place.
Current Activities Confirmed:
- Guest astronauts and astrologists offering talks and sessions designed to add context to the eclipse and space science
- Galactic “grandstand observatories” with viewing zones, telescopes, binoculars, and guided observation options
- Special programming across the ship that connects the eclipse to food, culture, and space exploration
- Cosmic cuisine featuring themed dishes and limited items across select venues
- A Celestial Dance Party staged under the night sky as part of the evening programming
- Additional activations that support astronomy, wellness, and sailor time onboard
These additions sit alongside Virgin Voyages usual schedule of dining, live music, wellness, fitness, and entertainment.

Valiant Lady: Eclipse in the Land of Fire and Ice
- Length: 15 nights
- Dates: August 5 to August 20 2026
- Route: Portsmouth, Dublin, Glasgow, Liverpool, Belfast, Siglufjörður, Ísafjörður, Reykjavik, Edinburgh, Portsmouth
Scarlet Lady: Total Eclipse of the Med
- Length: 12 nights
- Dates: August 10 to August 22 2026
- Route: Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca, Ibiza, Cannes, Ajaccio, Tuscany and Cinque Terre, Amalfi Coast through Salerno, Catania Sicily, Rome Civitavecchia

Virgin Voyages is currently running a promotional loot deal that applies to both eclipse voyages during a short booking window from January 16 2026 to January 29 2026 at 11:59pm ET. The deal adds up to $300 in loot per cabin depending on category. Loot can be used on drinks, dining upgrades, spa, shore tours, onboard retail, and laundry.
