Virgin Voyages Revamps Group Program
Virgin Voyages’ revamped group program for celebrations on board offers discounts, bar tab perks, and dining experiences for groups of eight or more cabins.
Virgin Voyages has introduced a revamped group program designed to make planning celebrations at sea even more flexible and rewarding. With new benefits for groups of eight or more cabins, the program caters to a variety of occasions, from family reunions and milestone birthdays to bachelor and bachelorette parties.
Perks for Groups
When eight or more cabins are booked together on the same sailing, Sailors unlock:
- Up to 10% off the Voyage Fare for bookings made at least 180 days in advance.
- Up to $300 Bar Tab per cabin, depending on the length of the sailing.
- A dedicated group dinner in any restaurant onboard, arranged by Virgin Voyages.
- Price and promo protection for 30 days, allowing organizers to lock in the best rates and offers while finalizing their group.
Types of Celebrations
Virgin Voyages’ group benefits are tailored for a wide range of celebrations, making them ideal for:
- Family reunions: Enjoy reconnecting with loved ones without the hassle of organizing logistics.
- Bachelor and bachelorette parties: Upgrade your pre-wedding festivities with group dinners, onboard events, and added perks.
- Birthday celebrations: Toast to another year with free drinks and discounts for your entire crew.
Important Details
While groups enjoy significant benefits, there are some key terms to note:
- The Bar Tab benefit is determined by the sailing’s length: $100 for 4–5 nights, $200 for 6–8 nights, and $300 for 9+ nights.
- The program cannot combine the Group Bar Tab with My Next Virgin Voyage placeholder offer. Sailors must choose between applying their My Next Virgin Voyage placeholder or receiving the Group Bar Tab. Typically the MNVV offer will be a better value if sailors have this available.
- Group organizers, or designated leaders must coordinate with Virgin Voyages’ onboard groups team to arrange cabins and meals.
Planning Your Group Voyage
Virgin Voyages makes it simple to reserve your group. With flexible terms, Sailors can hold cabins for up to 30 days before providing deposits or names. This allows ample time to rally friends and family for the adventure ahead.
