Virgin Voyages Reworks November 2027 Los Angeles Cruises
Virgin Voyages adds four shorter Brilliant Lady cruises from Los Angeles in November 2027, cancels three sailings and confirms rebooking options.
Virgin Voyages has reworked part of Brilliant Lady’s November 2027 schedule from Los Angeles, introducing four shorter California Coast & Mexico cruises in place of longer itineraries.
The changes include new 3-night and 4-night sailings, with visits to Catalina Island and Ensenada. The cruise line has also confirmed the cancellation of three previously scheduled voyages, including its October 30 Halloween sailing.
Affected sailors are being offered alternative sailings with price protection and additional Sailor Loot, or the option of a full refund.

Three Brilliant Lady Cruises Canceled
Alongside the new itineraries, Virgin Voyages has canceled three existing sailings as part of the changes to its Los Angeles schedule.
October 30, 2027: Baja Mexico Halloween Cruise
The 7-night Halloween sailing departing October 30 has been canceled due to a private charter of Brilliant Lady.
The original itinerary included visits to San Diego, Ensenada and Cabo San Lucas, returning to Los Angeles on November 6.
November 6, 2027: Mexican Riviera & Cabo Overnight
The 7-night Mexican Riviera & Cabo Overnight sailing departing November 6 has also been canceled.
The original itinerary included a visit to San Diego and an overnight stay in Cabo San Lucas, returning to Los Angeles on November 13.
This sailing has been replaced by the new shorter November 6 and November 10 departures.
November 20, 2027: Mexican Riviera Cruise
The 7-night Mexican Riviera sailing departing November 20 has also been canceled as part of the schedule changes.
The original itinerary included Cabo San Lucas, La Paz and Mazatlán. It has now been replaced by the shorter November 20 and November 24 departures.
Virgin Voyages says the changes are intended to provide more variety in both the length of its West Coast cruises and the ports visited.

What Are the Options for Affected Sailors?
Virgin Voyages has contacted affected sailors and First Mates with details of the available alternatives. The announced rebooking arrangements include price protection and additional options for sailors affected by the November 20 cancellation.
Move to Another 7-Night Sailing
Sailors covered by the price-protected rebooking offer can transfer to an eligible 7-night sailing departing Los Angeles between September 18 and November 13, 2027.
Virgin Voyages will honor the original fare and promotions, and provide additional Sailor Loot:
- $100 per cabin for standard accommodations.
- $300 per cabin for Suites.
This allows eligible affected sailors to choose another 7-night cruise without paying a higher voyage fare for the same cabin type.

Transfer to a Shorter November Sailing
Sailors originally booked on the November 20 Mexican Riviera cruise can instead transfer to either of the new November 20 or November 24 departures.
Payments already made will be applied toward the replacement sailing, and Virgin Voyages has confirmed that existing Sailor Loot will be retained.
Request a Full Refund
Sailors who do not wish to move to another itinerary can receive a full refund of their voyage fare to the original payment method.
Virgin Voyages has set a deadline of November 19, 2026 for affected sailors covered by the announced cancellation arrangements to make their decision. Anyone who does not respond by that date will automatically receive a refund.
Sailors who booked through a First Mate should contact their travel agent to arrange any changes or request a refund.
