Virgin Voyages has made updates to several Summer 2027 Mediterranean sailings. A handful of original 7 night itineraries on board Scarlet Lady are being reworked into longer 9–12 night voyages, designed to give Sailors more destinations and more time ashore.

Overview Of The Changes

The update affects a small set of late spring and early autumn 2027 departures. Instead of operating as 7 night sailings, these routes are being reimagined as longer Mediterranean voyages, with new port mixes and extended routing.

Impacted Sailing Dates

The following Scarlet Lady voyages are impacted:

• 30 May 2027: Croatia, Montenegro, Greece & Albania
• 6 June 2027: Greek Island Hues & Turkish Views
• 13 June 2027: Greek Island Glow
• 29 August 2027: Greek Island Glow
• 5 September 2027: Croatia, Montenegro, Greece & Albania
• 12 September 2027: Greek Island Hues & Turkish Views

What Sailors Can Do Next

Virgin Voyages has outlined three options for affected Sailors:

Option 1: Select A New 2027 European Voyage Of 7 Nights Or Fewer

Sailors can contact Virgin Voyages’ Sailor Services from today to move to a new 2027 European voyage of 7 nights or fewer.

• Fare protected: current fare will be fully protected
• Cabin protected: current cabin category will be protected
• Add-ons protected: add-ons (including pre-voyage service gratuities) will carry over
• Onboard Credit:
  • $300 for Suites (Mega RockStar & RockStar Quarters)
  • $100 for Sea Terrace and below

Option 2: Move To A Longer 9–12 Night 2027 Mediterranean Voyage

Switch into one of the new 9–12 night Mediterranean sailings, Sailors can contact Sailor Services from 18 December to rebook.

• Fare difference applies: Sailors will be responsible for any fare difference
• Onboard Credit: $100–$300 depending on cabin category (same tiers as above)

Option 3: 100% Refund

Sailors not wishing to rebook can request a full refund of their voyage fare (no additional Future Voyage Credit is included under this option).

Key Deadlines To Note

• From today: Sailors can switch to a new 2027 European voyage of 7 nights or fewer.
• From 18 December: Sailors can rebook into the new 9–12 night Mediterranean sailings.
• Action needed by 19 January: If no contact is made, bookings will be automatically cancelled and refunded.

If your sailing is on the impacted list, the key thing is to make a decision before Virgin Voyages’ deadline — otherwise your booking will be cancelled and refunded automatically.

• Check your sail date and itinerary name against the impacted list to confirm whether you’re affected.
• Decide which option fits your trip:
  • If you still want a week-long break, call Sailor Services now to switch to a 2027 European voyage of 7 nights or fewer (fare, cabin category, and add-ons protected, plus onboard credit).
  • If you’d rather upgrade to a longer 9–12 night Mediterranean itinerary, call Sailor Services from 18 December to rebook (you’ll pay any fare difference, and you’ll still receive onboard credit).
  • If you’d prefer not to rebook, request a full refund instead.
• Act by 19 January to avoid the automatic cancellation and refund.
