Today marks two years since we launched VV Insider. What began in August 2023 as a project between the two of us, Rob and David, has grown into a site that sailors around the world have used to help plan their Virgin Voyages experiences.

In that time, we’ve:

• Published 465 news articles
• Built 200 pages of guides and content pages covering ships, venues, and events on board
• Calculated hundreds of thousands of Bar Tabs and helped sailors find the right cabin.

Our Story

We’ve both been cruising for over a decade, sailing with Disney Cruise Line, Celebrity Cruises, Viking Ocean, and others. When we first tried Virgin Voyages in August 2021 from Portsmouth, UK, we immediately saw how different it felt and how much it matched the way we like to cruise.

Since then, between us we’ve sailed more than 25 times with Virgin Voyages across all of the ships, often with friends and family. Helping to build a reliable, up-to-date resource where sailors can find accurate information about the brand.

Over the past two years we’ve covered some of the biggest Virgin Voyages moments in depth, from the Celebration Voyages to new ship launches and first looks at entertainment, dining, and itineraries.

What’s Next

Two years on, we’re proud to celebrate how far we’ve come. As Brilliant Lady marks the close of the current Virgin Voyages fleet chapter, we’re excited for what lies ahead.

From new video content and behind-the-scenes stories to expanded coverage of Brilliant Lady’s debut, we’ll continue bringing the community the most accurate and timely Virgin Voyages updates. VV Insider has become a trusted home for sailors around the world and this milestone is only the beginning.
