Virgin Voyages announces the return of its Comedy Fest for 2025 with two special sailings on Valiant Lady and Scarlet Lady, featuring top U.S. and British comedians.
Following the sold-out success of the 2024 Comedy Fest currently sailing on Resilient Lady from Portsmouth, Virgin Voyages has announced the festival will return in 2025 with two special sailings on Valiant Lady and Scarlet Lady.
2025 Virgin Voyages “Comedy Fest” Dates
Valiant Lady – Departs August 10, 2025
This 5-night round-trip voyage ‘Mayan Sol’ departs from Miami, Florida and will feature U.S. comedy acts. The itinerary includes stops at:
- Costa Maya, Mexico – Explore ancient Mayan ruins or relax on pristine beaches.
- Beach Club at Bimini, Bahamas – Spend the day at this exclusive, beachside retreat with poolside cabanas and crystal-clear waters.
Scarlet Lady – Departs August 30, 2025
Departing from Portsmouth, UK, this 6-night cruise will feature top British comedians. The itinerary includes:
- La Coruña, Spain – Discover the historic Tower of Hercules or enjoy the local seafood.
- Bilbao, Spain – Home to the Guggenheim Museum and rich Basque culture.
- Le Verdon (Bordeaux), France – Famous for its wine and scenic vineyards, this port offers a taste of French charm.
Both sailings promise top-tier entertainment with the same level of humor that has made this year’s fest, featuring stars like Russell Howard and Ria Lina, a huge success.
2024 Comedy Fest Sailing Now
Virgin Voyages’ first-ever Comedy Fest is currently underway aboard the Resilient Lady, sailing from Portsmouth from September 14-19, 2024. Sailors on board are being treated to performances by top UK comedians like Russell Howard, Andre Vincent, and Ria Lina, along with The Dark Room, a live-action interactive comedy show. The itinerary includes an overnight stay in Amsterdam, offering time to explore the city’s canals and nightlife, and a stop in Zeebrugge for a visit to the medieval city of Bruges, famous for its architecture and local treats.
