Virgin Voyages is putting extra focus on its 7-night Caribbean sailings right now. These weeklong trips give you more time in port, more time to enjoy the ship, and more chances to actually switch off.

There’s also an offer running through the end of July. Any Caribbean voyage that’s 7 nights or longer comes with up to $300 in Sailor Loot when booked before July 31. You can read more about that here.

☀️ 1. Seven nights is enough to settle in

You’re not rushing to squeeze everything into a few days. You’ve got time to unwind, find your rhythm, and enjoy the ship and destinations without watching the clock.

🌴 2. Choose to sail from either Miami or San Juan

Both departure ports offer different kinds of routes. Miami sailings hit spots like Grand Cayman and the Dominican Republic. San Juan opens up options further south, like Barbados and St. Lucia.

✅ 3. A week is easy to plan around

It’s long enough to feel like a real break but short enough to not require a huge amount of time off. For most people, it’s a sweet spot.

🐠 4. These itineraries visit unique Caribbean ports

Depending on your sailing, you might stop at:

  • Ocho Rios, Jamaica
  • Grand Cayman
  • St. Maarten
  • Castries, St. Lucia
  • Bridgetown, Barbados
  • San Juan
  • Samaná

It’s a good mix of popular places and ports you don’t always get on shorter sailings.

🗺️ 5. More time means more chances to explore the ship

Longer sailings give you more time to try things onboard. From dining and events to shows and workouts, you’re less likely to miss something. You can view a sample of what’s on offer on a 7 Night Resilient sailing here.

💰 6. The extra Sailor Loot helps

Sailor Loot can be used for drinks, dining upgrades, spa, and more. With up to $300 included on these sailings through the end of July, it’s a useful bonus that covers a few extras. And get additional loot when combined with our Sail Forward offer.

💡 7. You don’t need to budget for all the usual add-ons

Things like Wi-Fi, tips, group fitness, and dining are included in the fare. It keeps the costs clearer from the start. Find out more about what’s included here.
