What is Included?
Unlike others in the cruise industry Virgin Voyages includes many things as standard with your voyage fare including WiFi, specialty restaurants, fitness classes and essential drinks!
Standard With Your Cabin
- Fresh filtered water every day
- Unlimited Wi-Fi for the whole voyage
- Films and TV shows on the in-room TV
- Ship Eats (Room Service) – Items on the menu are included unless priced separately however there is a delivery fee associated.
- Premium toiletries from Red Flower (shower gel, shampoo, conditioner) in the bathroom
- Hair dryer – Find out more about bringing your own
- Mini Fridge (Empty for use with drinks)
Food and Beverages
- Meals at any restaurant on board
- Fountain soft drinks and juices from any restaurant or bar
- Filter coffee from restaurants and The Galley
- All food from The Galley food court
- Ice cream from Lick Me Till Ice Cream
- Pizza from The Pizza Place
- Popcorn, candy, hot dogs and chicken wings from The Social Club
Events
- All entertainment events in the line up (excluding premium events like gambling or alcohol-inclusive events)
- All fitness and wellness classes (excluding some spa events)
What Is Not Included
In Your Cabin
- Ship Eats delivery fee – Although Ship Eats is included there is an additional delivery fee unless you order the minimum fee.
- There are some merchandise items found in your cabin, if you take these with you the charge will be taken at the end of your voyage, the price is clearly marked on the tag (for example the sexton-shaped corkscrew).
- If you damage or remove items from the cabin like towels or blankets you will be charged a replenishment fee.
Food and Beverages
- Alcohol and premium soft drinks (smoothies, mocktails, juices, etc)
- Any ‘treat yourself’ menu items – these include premium seafood and tomahawk steaks for example
Events
- Any events in the line-up with a price attached such as Another Rose or most Food & Drink events. We have found that these events offer great value for money in general. Often these premium events will include a generous amount of premium alcoholic beverages and are a lot of fun.
Gratuities
- Gratuities are no longer bundled into the fare and appear as a separate line item. Learn more in our tipping guide.
- Sailors with Legacy Fare bookings prior to October 7th 2025 will continue to have gratuities included.
Other
- Higher Tier Wi-Fi – For streaming purposes and multiple devices this option is not included unless pre-purchased.
- Laundry Service – There is no onboard launderette so laundry must be purchased.
- Virgin Voyages do not offer any inclusive shore excursions (Virgin Voyages call these ‘Shore Things’) so these will all carry a cost, you are of course welcome to organize your own port excursions with companies on land.

Overview
Virgin Voyages offers the most all inclusive value for money when compared with most other cruise lines.
Some of the premium options are offered at a fee but we think these mostly offer very fair value and are a good way to enhance your voyage, especially if you have an on board credit offer.
