Inside Look: Comparing Scarlet Lady’s Changes
We’re comparing key changes with side-by-side images of dining spaces, deck areas, and lounges on Scarlet Lady’s 2024 Dry Dock.
Virgin Voyages’ flagship, Scarlet Lady, is set to receive some major updates during its scheduled dry dock from November 14 to 28, 2024. This dry dock marks an exciting time for sailors, as new features and upgrades will enhance the overall experience. We previously reported on some of the expected changes, but now we are taking a closer look at the differences between the concept art and existing venues.
Razzle Dazzle
The quirky and vibrant Razzle Dazzle will be introducing an evening concept known as Lucky Lotus by Razzle Dazzle. The new dining concept brings a Chinese-inspired menu to dinner time, complemented by cozy, lounge-style seating.
Before vs. After
- Before: Known for its eclectic interiors, the original Razzle Dazzle offered a communal dining experience with a focus on fun and vibrant patterns.
- After: The new layout features intimate seating perfect for dinner and a more subdued color palette
Grounds Club Too
A change to the Grounds Club Too coffee bar in The Galley will see it transition into a cocktail lounge at night, providing sailors with a new option for an upscale evening experience whilst maintaining the core functions during breakfast and lunch.
Before vs. After
- Before: The coffee bar had a simple, functional design, with standard Galley seating surrounding its main structure.
- After: The coffee bar is being completely reimagined, with its structure rebuilt to create a more sophisticated cocktail lounge. The new design includes ambient lighting and a more refined seating arrangement.
VIP Cabanas at the Aquatic Club
The deck area near the Aquatic Club will see the addition of six new VIP cabanas. These cabanas provide sailor with “private” spaces to relax by the pool, complete with white curtains and comfortable daybeds.
Before vs. After
- Before: The pool deck featured red cabanas that were freely available and comfortably seated two Sailors.
- After: The new VIP cabanas will replace the existing red cabanas, offering a more spacious and private seating option exclusively for those who reserve them.
