Brilliant Lady to Host New York Launch Event for Sailing Club Members
Brilliant Lady arrives in New York for an exclusive Sailing Club event with dinner, entertainment, Scarlet Night, and a drone show.
Virgin Voyages is welcoming Sailing Club members to New York City this September for an exclusive launch celebration aboard Brilliant Lady, just days before she begins her first sailings from Manhattan.
On Wednesday 3 September, Brilliant Lady will be docked at the Manhattan Cruise Terminal for a one-night-only welcome event. Running from 5:00 PM to 11:30 PM, this experience is designed for loyal cruisers and offers a unique preview of Virgin Voyages’ newest ship, without the need to book a full voyage.
Tickets are available exclusively for Sailing Club members and cost $150 per person. Space is limited and must be booked in advance.
A Taste of Brilliant Lady in NYC
This invite-only event is tailored for Virgin Voyages’ most loyal guests. Whether you’ve cruised before or simply want to be among the first to explore Brilliant Lady’s fresh spaces and entertainment, this evening gives you a full taste of the Virgin experience — all before she officially sets sail for the Caribbean.
Guests will be able to explore the ship, dine in award-winning restaurants, and take part in exclusive entertainment and celebrations.
What’s included:
- Pre-booked dinner at one of Brilliant Lady’s six signature restaurants, including Rojo by Razzle Dazzle, a Spanish-inspired concept exclusive to this ship
- Access to Virgin Voyages’ signature entertainment, with special performances and surprises throughout the night
- The full Scarlet Night experience, beginning at 8:00 PM with immersive entertainment and dancing under the stars
- A premium open bar with curated drinks available all evening
- A drone show finale over the Manhattan skyline
Guests are encouraged to wear a splash of red in celebration of Brilliant Lady’s arrival. Public spaces will be open throughout the evening, though this is not an overnight event and no cabins will be available for viewing.

Important Info
This is not a sailing and guests must disembark by 11:30 PM. A government-issued photo ID is required for boarding. All guests must be aged 18 or over and must be Sailing Club loyalty members to attend.
After reserving, guests will receive a link to register dining preferences and guest details. Restaurant selection is required at the time of booking and dining slots are subject to availability. Those wishing to dine together should register under the same order and arrive together for check-in.
Please arrive at least 45 minutes before your scheduled dinner time. Boarding begins at 5:00 PM.
There is no parking at Pier 90. Guests are encouraged to use rideshare or public transportation to reach the terminal.

Following the New York celebration, Brilliant Lady will set sail on her MerMaiden voyage from Manhattan on 5 September, kicking off her debut Caribbean season from the US East Coast.
