Has more space than similar cabins
This cabin is a little roomier than other cabins in this category.
Short walk to elevators / lifts
This cabin is close to the elevators or lifts meaning it will take less time to get to and from restaurants, venues and shops on board.
This is an accessible cabin. This means it is specifically designed for sailors with disabilities including wheelchair users. It is larger than a standard cabin and has a number of features to aid accessibility. These include:
Entrance doorway to bathroom is wider; 33.46 inches (850mm)
Turning circle of 60 inches (1525mm) in bathroom
Grab bars surrounding toilet and shower
Folding shower bench
Rain-head showers with handheld spray shower
If you can safely transfer from your wheelchair and walk around the cabin you might also find cabins designated as ‘ambulatory’ suitable. Ambulatory cabins are positioned directly from the elevators / lifts so a wheelchair can be easily manoeuvred into the cabin. Guests are expected to transfer into the cabin from their wheelchair.
Cabin 5282M Location
Cabin 5282M sits in the midship part of the ship on deck 5. Midship means the central area of the ship. Deck 5 is close to dining, bars, and entertainment venues on decks 6 and 7.
The 'M' in the cabin number means it is neither on the port or starboard side of the ship, instead it is a middle cabin. Therefore this cabin is an inside cabin, meaning it is not on the wall of the ship so will not have a window or a balcony.
Insider cabins offer a similar amount of space to Sea View or Sea Terrace cabins, with all the same amenities—except they’re located inside the ship. As a more affordable option, these cabins still provide the full Virgin Voyages experience, just without the direct access to sea views or fresh air.
