Has an iconic red hammock
Cabin 8234A has an iconic red hammock on the balcony. This is a great place to relax and enjoy the view.
Has a glass balcony
Cabin 8234A’s balcony railings are made of glass. As opposed to some cabins closer to the edges of the deck plan that have steel railings. This glass railing allows for a better view of the ocean when sitting down.
Bad Points
Close to noisy venues
This cabin can be noisy because it is close to venues that play music, host shows or become very busy such as the Gym or The Galley.
Farther from elevators / lifts
This cabin is farther from the elevators and lifts than others, so it might take a bit longer to reach the onboard venues. However, Virgin Voyages ships are not as large as some other cruise ships.
Virtual Cabin Tour
Take a 3D virtual tour of a Limited View Sea Terrace cabin. Note; the actual layout of 8234A might vary.
Example Limited View Sea Terrace cabin. Actual cabin may vary.
Cabin 8234A sits in the midship part of the ship on deck 8. Midship means the central area of the ship. Deck 8 is close to dining, bars, and entertainment venues on decks 6 and 7.
The 'A' in the cabin number means it is on the port side of the ship (left of the ship if you're looking straight forward). This can sometimes be important if you're doing a repositioning voyage like a Transatlantic crossing as it will determine if you will have the sunshine or not.
Located near the lower deck activities, the Limited View Sea Terrace provides a good balance of price and balcony space.
While the cabin will typically have a partially obstructed view due to lifeboats or mechanical equipment, its proximity to lower deck activities makes it a practical option for guests who want easy access to onboard entertainment.
This cabin has all the same features as a standard Sea Terrace.
