Virgin Voyages will soon rollout a new pricing system called VoyageFair Choices, but there is still a short window left to secure what we are calling the Legacy Fare Boost. Anyone who books a sailing by October 6, 2025 at 11:59 PM ET will lock in a Legacy Fare, keeping the original fare rules and flexibility before the changes take effect.
What Is a Legacy Fare?
A Legacy Fare is the name given to bookings made before October 7, 2025. These bookings will continue under the previous terms that sailors are already familiar with.
- Gratuities remain bundled into the fare
- Sailor change rules match the Premium level under VoyageFair Choices
- Dining reservations open 60 days before sailing, or 120 days for RockStar cabins
- No need to pick between Base, Essential, or Premium tiers
What Changes After October 6?
From October 7, 2025 onward, all new bookings will be part of the new VoyageFair Choices structure. This system introduces three fare levels: Base, Essential, and Premium. Each comes with its own rules for flexibility, perks, and inclusions.
- Base fares are the lowest priced but offer little flexibility and the 15 day dining window
- Essential fares sit in the middle with some ability to make changes and 45 day dining window
- Premium fares carry the most flexibility and include added benefits like bar tab credit, premium WiFi, 60 day dining window and priority support
RockStar and Mega RockStar fares remain separate and keep their own set of inclusions.
