MNVV Placeholders Now Valid on Lower Priced Sea Terrace Cabins
My Next Virgin Voyage placeholders can now be used on lower priced Sea Terrace cabins, including Limited View, for bookings before end of August.
Virgin Voyages has made a notable change to the My Next Virgin Voyage (MNVV) program. For the first time, MNVV placeholders can now be applied to select lower priced Sea Terrace cabins. This gives more flexibility to those looking to book at a reduced fare.
What’s New?
Through August 28, 2025, MNVVs can now also be used on:
- Limited View Sea Terrace cabins
- (Slightly) Smaller Balcony Sea Terrace cabins (only available on Brilliant Lady)
Previously, MNVVs were only valid on The Sea Terrace category and above.
Cabin Type Details
The Limited View Sea Terrace includes cabins with partially blocked views, often due to lifeboats. The interior layout remains the same as other Sea Terraces.
The (Slightly) Smaller Balcony Sea Terrace is exclusive to Brilliant Lady. These cabins are more compact due to changes made for Panama Canal transit. They often include two hammocks with the interior layout the same as standard Sea Terraces.
Details Confirmed
This change was first spotted by sailors and has been confirmed by Virgin Voyages internal teams. We have also tested it successfully using our own placeholders.
Virgin Voyages has however not yet updated their official MNVV terms or booking pages, but the change is active on their website when booking.
No Other Changes to MNVV
Everything else about the placeholder system remains the same, lock-it-in Sea Terraces are not applicable for this change. All current and past placeholders can still be used as normal.
Offer Valid Until August 28 Only
This option is only available for new bookings made by August 28, 2025. After that date, MNVVs will go back to being valid on The Sea Terrace and higher categories only.
