Announced live on stage during the May 4, 2025, Miami Celebration Voyage, Virgin Voyages revealed that Brilliant Lady will debut a redesigned Roundabout featuring new concepts and layout changes. Our friends at The Getaway Guys have provided the first look at the images, high res concept art should be released soon by Virgin Voyages.

What Is The Roundabout?

The Roundabout is the central hub on every Virgin Voyages ship. It typically features key areas such as:

  • Future Voyage bookings (Get Lost)
  • Draught Haus beer bar
  • Shore Things service desk
  • Casual seating areas
  • Access to shops and events

On Brilliant Lady, Deck 7 will be transformed to create a more open and functional space, especially around the midship area where Draught Haus is located. The design also highlights the large panoramic windows—especially useful for scenic sailings in Alaska.

Draught Haus Gets an Upgrade

While a new name wasn’t revealed, concept art suggests Draught Haus will evolve into a more upscale venue. The old partitions are being removed and replaced with:

  • Comfortable lounge seating
  • A new juice and coffee station

This change makes

the space more versatile throughout the day.

Shore Things Finds a New Home

Previously located at the large red Chart Table, the Shore Things team will now have a purpose-built nook between Grounds Club and the main Roundabout doors. This area will include:

  • A dedicated service desk
  • New waiting and seating areas

The update is expected to improve traffic flow and overall guest experience.

Saying Goodbye to the Red Table

The iconic red table—found on the other three ships—will be removed. In its place, more comfortable seating will open up the Roundabout and give the space a more relaxed, spacious feel. This change will be especially important as new Scarlet Night experiences are introduced.

Virgin Voyages also shared more information with a look at Rojo, the new Spanish-themed concept coming to Razzle Dazzle. The  video showcases bold flavors and culinary flair.

Looking Ahead

These updates are part of the broader changes happening during Brilliant Lady’s wet dock period ahead of her launch on September 5, 2025. More announcements are expected in the months leading up to her debut.

I thought Brilliant Lady was already built out? These changes sound like they are still working on her? Glad to hear the Shore Things will have seating so you aren’t awkwardly queueing up near the vinyl records area (which should also go away since I don’t see people purchasing any vinyl onboard). And that large red table at Shore Things is wasted as I don’t see groups of people milling around there ever (my last cruise was the first time I ever had to meet there before an excursion). I do hope they just move Draught Haus and have a place for beers on tap. I think that would be a loss if it just goes away. And am I the only one who is tired of Scarlet Night? A reboot of that would be nice.

I’m looking forward to trying the wonderful cuisines mentioned here on Brilliant Lady this November for my milestone in life 9 day cruise.

  3. Rhonda Markham says:

Having just disembarked a fab solo cruise on Scarlet, I very well know this area. It makes great sense to transform the central space into something more feasible for sitting and lounging.

I’ll be taking the Brilliant for a sailing next January so can’t wait to see all the changes and am, for sure, looking forward to dining at Rojo, the Spanish-themed eatery at “Razzle”.

  4. JohnB says:

Big improvements! There was just so much wasted space in the center of the ship.

  5. Mb says:

Happy to some forward thinking, on the colder itineraries more inside seating is welcome.
