New Entertainment Options on Scarlet Lady After Dry Dock
Scarlet Lady’s refreshed entertainment lineup includes ‘80s-themed Klub Rubiks, a Y2K party, and Hollywood-inspired drag show, debuting this Winter.
Scarlet Lady will return from dry dock with refreshed entertainment options that sailors can look forward to on the upcoming months. The Event Line-Up has revealed several new events ahead. Here’s a look at what’s in store for sailors eager to explore new event themes.
Goodbye to Heartbeat
A long-time favorite, Heartbeat was Scarlet Lady’s funk and groove night, where sailors could dance to a mix of house, pop, and disco music. Curated by Brooklyn’s House of Yes, Heartbeat brought an energetic vibe, blending beats with lively performances by The Happenings Cast. As this event makes way for new themes, it leaves behind a legacy of memorable nights.
Introducing Klub Rubiks to Scarlet Lady
Originally launched on Resilient Lady in May 2023, Klub Rubiks is an ‘80s-themed night that quickly gained popularity for its electric vibe. Sailors often dress up to match the colorful, neon aesthetic of the era, enjoying music and dance performances that celebrate the spirit of the decade. Scarlet Lady’s first Klub Rubiks event will take place on the December 7th during the first sailing.
New Themed Events
Two additional themes will debut post-dry dock, offering sailors fresh experiences with a mix of millennium nostalgia and classic Hollywood.
Y2K Party: A Flashback to 1999
The Y2K Party in the Red Room lets sailors relive the fun of December 31, 1999. With vibrant ‘90s fashion encouraged, this event brings back the era’s unforgettable tunes alongside playful dance and vocal performances, channeling the style and quirks of the turn of the century.
- First Event: December 17th, following the Transatlantic crossing
Lights, Camera, Drag!: Classic Hollywood with a Twist
Lights, Camera, Drag! in The Manor celebrates the glitz of Hollywood, hosted by Scarlet Lady’s resident drag diva, Dixie Krystal. This show offers a journey through classic and modern cinema, with humor and vintage charm. Sailors are invited to join in the fun, as The Diva brings iconic movie moments to life with her own unique twist.
- First Event: December 14th, on the first Miami sailing
Those sailing on the Transatlantic may be able to view rehearsals of these new shows but they are currently not in the line-up.
