Nicky Jam Joins Virgin Voyages’ May Celebration Voyage
Virgin Voyages’ 2025 Celebration Voyages kick off with Nicky Jam’s exclusive performance aboard Valiant Lady, May 4th.
Virgin Voyages is kicking off its 2025 Celebration Voyages with the headliner, Nicky Jam. The Latin music star, who just signed with Virgin Records, will perform an exclusive show aboard Valiant Lady during the 4 May 2025 – Celebration Voyage.
“I’m excited to bring real jams to Virgin Voyages,” Nicky Jam said. “No preserves needed—just pure reggaeton energy on the high seas. This May is going to be unforgettable!”
The announcement follows Virgin Voyages’ playful April Fools’ joke, where they claimed to be launching Jam at Sea, a gourmet fruit preserve collection. The fictional “BransonBerry” flavor—a Champagne-infused berry blend—was supposedly taste-tested by Sir Richard Branson himself. While the jam turned out to be a prank, the real news is just as sweet: Nicky Jam will be taking the stage at sea.

What to Expect on the May Celebration Voyage
As we previously announced last week the line-up for the Celebration Voyages features a number of executives and events, designed to honor the Virgin brand’s 50+ year legacy:
- Scarlet Night will feature a live performance from Nicky Jam
- Club Caliente the brand new Latin party will feature a special DJ set from Nicky Jam
- Behind-the-scenes tours with Virgin’s creative team
- Fireside Q&As, fitness classes, and interactive workshops
- Exclusive Shore Things, including curated excursions in Cozumel (Playa del Carmen) and Virgin Voyages’ Beach Club at Bimini
Other Celebration Voyages
No musical acts have been announced yet for the other two celebration voyages, departing on May 18th from Athens and July 22nd from Lisbon. Sailors should stay tuned for potential future announcements regarding additional acts for these voyages.
