High Limits Casino Launches

As we rumored in our July tidbit update, the long-awaited High Limits casino, The Den – Casino, has officially opened on Valiant Lady. First spotted by Kent Mills from the Ask the Experts group. This space, previously a flexible event area, has been transformed into a casino designed for high-limit play. It features unique tables and slots tailored to sailors seeking an elevated gaming experience.

The Test Kitchen Removing a Course

The Test Kitchen is currently testing the removal of the fifth course from its menu. This trial aims to reduce wait times between courses and accommodate more sailors each evening. Sailors have frequently expressed issues about the long dining times for the six-course experience.

The trial is underway on Resilient Lady and Valiant Lady, both cycling Menu A and Menu C. From Menu A, the Blue Cheese/Mandarin (Veggie) course has been removed, and from Menu C, the Watermelon/Pomegranate (Veggie) course has been excluded. While it is unclear if this will be a permanent change, the adjustment is expected to improve overall service and may become permanent.

New Entertainment Launching on Scarlet Lady

As we previously reported, new entertainment will debut on Scarlet Lady starting with the November 28 sailing. The new drag show, Lights, Camera, Drag, will transport sailors to the glitz and glamour of Hollywood. Additionally, the Y2K Party will let sailors celebrate like it’s New Year’s Eve 1999, creating a nostalgic and vibrant atmosphere. These offerings will likely expand to other ships in the future!

  1. Suzette says:

Losing the Watermelon course from Menu C is a huge mistake. That was the course that both my partner and I couldn’t stop raving about. The Yuzu Dessert was way too sweet and neither of us cared for it, so we went for seconds on the Watermelon instead. The Blue Cheese on Menu A was also a standout course.

    1. Trisha says:

      Agreed! Keep the watermelon.

  2. Virgin Voyager says:

Having done 2 Virgin Voyages and managed to book with the same menu both times, the Test Kitchen experience loses its shine. They need to update the menus at least annually or have different menus on different ships. The blue cheese course was a good one too.

  3. Tricia Wintet says:

Saw The Den when cruised in early Nov as they opened it up for us to do a slot pull – very nice

  4. Steve K says:

Expecting Brillant Lady to do Australia season for winter ‘26/‘27?

    1. Rob Sammons says:

It was promised they’d be back in 2026… we’ll see if they fulfill the promise!

      1. Marcus says:

I think it’s up to the Red Sea pirates and not Richard Branson.

        1. Rob Sammons says:

Not necessarily, Brilliant Lady can go to Australia as she can navigate the Panama Canal unlike the other ships.
