Sun Society is a new 90-minute daytime poolside party launching on Virgin Voyages’ Valiant Lady from October 19, 2026.
Taking place at The Aquatic Club on Deck 15, the event brings a retro Hollywood-inspired atmosphere to select sea days during Valiant Lady’s Caribbean season.
The experience combines live entertainment, music, poolside performances, and interactive moments. Sailors are encouraged to dress in retro-inspired swimwear and summer clothing.
Originally teased during Valiant Lady’s 2026 dry dock refresh, Sun Society is finally making its debut following several months of anticipation.

Sun Society takes place over 90 minutes at The Aquatic Club pool deck. The experience is inspired by mid-century Hollywood glamour, retro country clubs, and relaxed California poolside culture.
The event features pastel umbrellas, pink flamingo decorations, music, and appearances from performers throughout the afternoon.
Unlike a traditional show, Sun Society progresses through several stages without formal announcements. The music and entertainment gradually build as the afternoon continues.
Virgin Voyages has confirmed that Sun Society will take place on select sea days, weather permitting. Sailors should check their onboard entertainment schedule for the exact time and date.
What to Expect at Sun Society
The event is divided into five stages, with each part introducing new music, entertainment, and interactions around the pool deck.
Arrival: 0–15 Minutes
The afternoon begins with soul, bossa nova, and 1960s resort-inspired music. Sailors can settle into the poolside atmosphere as the event gradually begins.
Leisure: 15–40 Minutes
Small performances and interactions begin appearing around the pool deck. The entertainment is designed to blend into the surroundings rather than interrupt the afternoon.
Play: 40–65 Minutes
This is when the main entertainment begins. Performers known as The Insiders, The Scarlets, and The Socialites join the event alongside other characters.
Expect dancing, conversations, and opportunities to get involved as the poolside gathering becomes more energetic.
Indulgence: 65–80 Minutes
The experience moves into a playful celebration of sweet treats and indulgence, with the atmosphere continuing to build.
Euphoria: 80–90 Minutes
The final stage brings music and bubbles across the pool deck. The entertainment reaches its peak before the performers blend back into the crowd and the usual sea day atmosphere returns.

- The Flamingos: An oversized pink flamingo provides a themed photo opportunity.
- The Voice: A hostess performs a live rendition of “Sway” inspired by classic Hollywood entertainment.
