Virgin Voyages Announces New ‘Marvelous’ Voyages for 2026
Virgin Voyages introduces new 2026 itineraries branded “Marvelous Voyages”. Including a very special set of Total Eclipse Voyages, as well as new British Isles and European sailings.
Virgin Voyages is set to offer an exciting array of new voyages in 2026, expanding their offerings across multiple ships in the fleet, including the much-anticipated Brilliant Lady, launching in September 2025. Branded “Marvelous Voyages” these are once in a life time event cruises offered by Virgin. This collection of voyages includes a variety of destinations and experiences, from the historic Panama Canal to the 2026 Solar Eclipse in Iceland. These voyages all last from 8 to 16 nights.
With twelve new ports on the schedule, highlights include Salerno (Amalfi Coast, Italy), Edinburgh (Scotland), Stockholm (Sweden), Hamburg (Germany), Oslo (Norway), Tangier (Morocco), and eventually Greenland.
Bookings for these special sailings as well as typical voyages will open in phases throughout August and early September 2024. Notably, this marks the first time Valiant Lady will return to Europe since 2022, and it’s likely on track for a dry dock in 2026, similar to Scarlet Lady.
Eclipse Voyages – Booking Opens August 21, 2024
One of the most anticipated offerings is the Eclipse Voyage, set to take place on August 12, 2026. This unique itinerary setting sail on August 5th 2026 on Valiant Lady will position sailors in the perfect location to witness a total solar eclipse over Iceland—a rare celestial event. An additional sailing in the Mediterranean will also celebrate the occasion. Virgin will offer a front row seat at sea to this special event.
On Virgin Voyages’ eclipse-themed cruises, passengers can enjoy a range of exceptional experiences, including lectures and discussions with astronauts and astrologers. Exclusive onboard features include dedicated eclipse observation areas, telescopes, special edition souvenirs like Virgin Voyages eclipse glasses, and cosmic cuisine such as moonpies and Milky Way milkshakes. The programming also boasts live orchestral music, moon ceremonies, and stargazing yoga, all designed to enhance the voyage and make it truly unforgettable.

Virgin Voyages will also introduce a special set of cruises on Valiant Lady around the British Isles and the Baltics in the summer of 2026. These voyages will explore new ports in Northern Europe, offering sailors a chance to experience the rich history and stunning landscapes of this region. From the rugged coastlines of Scotland to the cultural hubs of the Baltics, these itineraries promise to deliver a diverse range of experiences.

Virgin Voyages will offer additional special sailings in the Mediterranean and Greek Isles including a repositioning to Portsmouth as well as a longer sailing visiting the Greek Isles These voyages will visit some of the most popular ports in the region, including Mykonos, Barcelona, and Morocco.

As previously announced Brilliant Lady will embark on a remarkable journey through the Panama Canal in early 2026 thanks to its new lifeboat setup. These sailings have been rebranded as “Marvelous Voyages” designed as one off sailings.
