Virgin Voyages Introduces Best Price Guarantee for New Sailings

Virgin Voyages has rolled out a new Best Price Guarantee program that promises sailors the best deal on their bookings within 48 hours of making a reservation. If a sailor finds a lower price for the same cruise elsewhere within this period, Virgin Voyages will refund the difference or offer credit if applicable. This offer is available indefinitely.

How the Best Price Guarantee Works

To qualify, sailors need to:

• Take a screenshot of the lower rate showing the pricing, itinerary name, sailing date, and cabin category.
• Submit a form to Virgin Voyages on their website within 48 hours of their booking.

Virgin Voyages will review and respond to requests within 72 hours. If approved, the difference will be credited back to the guest or applied as future voyage credit (to use on future sailings or pre-purchased packages).

What is Not Included?

It’s important to note that the Best Price Guarantee only covers the base fare of the voyage. It does not apply to additional costs such as:

• Sailor Loot: Onboard credits that sailor can use during their voyage.
• Bar Tab: Onboard drink credit that can be used on alcoholic or non alcoholic beverages
• Add-ons: Extras like drinks, spa services, or shore excursions.
• Bundled Rates: Packages that include airfare or other bundled offers are also excluded from this guarantee.

This means that while Virgin Voyages will match or beat any voyage fare found elsewhere, extras and perks must be considered separately and are not subject to the price matching policy.

Terms and Conditions

The program has some key limitations:

• The request must be made before the final payment is due and no later than seven days before embarkation.
• The price guarantee is not applicable to all offers or bundles, and it only applies to rates that the guest qualifies for directly through Virgin Voyages.
• The guarantee does not apply to bookings made through tour operators or travel agents, nor does it apply to group rates, membership programs, or other exclusive deals.
