Virgin Voyages Merges Sales & Marketing in Leadership Shake-Up
Virgin Voyages has merged its sales and marketing teams under Nathan Rosenberg, with new leadership roles introduced to streamline advisor support and improve the sailor booking experience.
Virgin Voyages has announced a leadership shake-up that brings its sales and marketing teams under one roof. The move is designed to improve support for travel advisors and create a more seamless booking journey for future sailors.
Revealed during First Mate Appreciation Month, the change sees Chief Marketing Officer Nathan Rosenberg take on permanent leadership of both departments. Virgin says the shift will reduce friction and provide clearer, more coordinated support across all stages of the booking process.
“This isn’t just a structural change — it’s a smarter, more seamless way of working,” – “It creates a more coordinated experience — for our First Mates and for the sailors they serve.” said CEO Nirmal Saverimuttu.

Key Leadership Changes
To support the new structure, Virgin Voyages has confirmed several leadership appointments:
- Nathan Rosenberg, previously Chief Marketing Officer, now formally oversees both sales and marketing. Virgin says this unified leadership structure will streamline advisor support, eliminate mixed messaging, and strengthen global campaign execution.
- Koreen McNutt joins as Vice President of Agency & Business Development. With previous roles at MSC Cruises, Expedia Group and Holland America Line, she will focus on improving advisor tools and internal systems.
- Kristy Woolums becomes Senior Director of National Strategic Accounts, focusing on high-level agency partnerships across North America and serving as a key liaison at trade events.
- Stephen Hopkins takes on an expanded role as Vice President of Growth and International Sales & Marketing, now including Sales Acceleration. He’ll oversee campaigns, partner engagement, and trade marketing across global markets.

What This Means for Sailors
While the changes are internal, the aim is to make the booking experience easier and more consistent for those planning a Virgin Voyages trip. With improved coordination between marketing and sales, and more targeted advisor tools, the brand expects to streamline the process from inquiry to embarkation.
Virgin Voyages has said that more details will be shared soon as the new structure rolls out.
