Virgin Voyages’ Short Los Angeles Cruises for November 2027 Now on Sale
Brand new 3/4 night Virgin Voyages cruises from Los Angeles are now on sale for November 2027, with additional bonuses available.
Virgin Voyages has opened bookings for four new California Coast & Mexico cruises aboard Brilliant Lady in November 2027. The new 3-night and 4-night itineraries depart from Los Angeles, visiting Catalina Island and Ensenada.
The shorter sailings are part of a recent rework of Brilliant Lady’s November 2027 schedule, which saw three previously announced cruises canceled. Sailors can now book all four replacement voyages.
Four New California Coast & Mexico Cruises
All four cruises sail round-trip from Los Angeles aboard Brilliant Lady. The 4-night itineraries include Catalina Island and Ensenada, while the 3-night options focus on Ensenada with time at sea.
November 6, 2027: 4-Night California Coast & Mexico
Departing Los Angeles on Saturday, November 6, Brilliant Lady begins with a full day at sea before arriving at Catalina Island on Monday, November 8.
Sailors can explore the waterfront town of Avalon, visit its shops and restaurants, or enjoy the island’s coastal scenery. The following day, Brilliant Lady visits Ensenada, Mexico, where sailors can explore the waterfront, sample local food or take a trip to La Bufadora.
The ship returns to Los Angeles on Wednesday, November 10.

November 10, 2027: 3-Night California Coast & Mexico
The first 3-night option departs Los Angeles on Wednesday, November 10, returning on Saturday, November 13.
Brilliant Lady spends the first full day at sea, giving sailors time to enjoy the ship’s restaurants, entertainment and outdoor spaces. On Friday, November 12, the ship arrives in Ensenada for a day exploring the Mexican coastal city.
This shorter itinerary offers a weekend-length cruise experience without needing a full week away. It also provides an opportunity to try Virgin Voyages from Los Angeles on a shorter sailing.
November 20, 2027: 4-Night California Coast & Mexico
The second 4-night departure begins on Saturday, November 20, replacing part of the originally scheduled 7-night Mexican Riviera cruise.
Following a relaxing day at sea on Sunday, Brilliant Lady visits Catalina Island on Monday, November 22. Sailors can spend time in Avalon or explore more of the island before continuing to Ensenada on Tuesday.
The ship returns to Los Angeles on Wednesday, November 24, just ahead of Thanksgiving.

The final new departure sails from Los Angeles on Wednesday, November 24, returning on Saturday, November 27.
This 3-night cruise takes place over the US Thanksgiving holiday. Brilliant Lady visits Ensenada on Thursday, November 25, before spending Friday at sea on the return journey to Los Angeles.
With Thanksgiving falling during the voyage, this departure provides another option for sailors looking to spend the holiday aboard Virgin Voyages.
Sail Forward Sailor Loot on 4-Night Cruises
Both new 4-night departures, sailing November 6 and November 20, are eligible for Virgin Voyages’ Sail Forward offer.
