About Cabin Category ‘The Insider’

Insider cabins offer a similar amount of space to Sea View or Sea Terrace cabins, with all the same amenities—except they’re located inside the ship. As a more affordable option, these cabins still provide the full Virgin Voyages experience, just without the direct access to sea views or fresh air.

Given that it’s an accessible cabin, and thus people are more likely to retire early, it was disappointingly LOUD until 3am most nights with the bass of the Manor blaring above. As much as I would love to go dance the night away, alas, I cannot.

And the light switch for the bathroom is round the corner, we had to ask for help, and were originally told that as an ada cabin, the bathroom light could not be turned off!

Thanks for the feedback we’ve noted this as noisy now!

  2. Cheryl Oberkrom says:

We found there was a steady thumping sound at night from the Red Room above.
The tv is on the side wall and had a swivel stand which blocked one side of the bed. Just ask for bed to be slid over towards the door to avoid hitting tv.
The automatic door to the bathroom was frustrating. It opened and closed very slowly and could open if non-user was passing by the sensor.
