Has an iconic red hammock
Cabin 8154Z has an iconic red hammock on the balcony. This is a great place to relax and enjoy the view.
Has a glass balcony
Cabin 8154Z’s balcony railings are made of glass. As opposed to some cabins closer to the edges of the deck plan that have steel railings. This glass railing allows for a better view of the ocean when sitting down.
Has more space than similar cabins
This cabin is a little roomier than other cabins in this category.
Short walk to elevators / lifts
This cabin is close to the elevators or lifts meaning it will take less time to get to and from restaurants, venues and shops on board.
This is an accessible cabin. This means it is specifically designed for sailors with disabilities including wheelchair users. It is larger than a standard cabin and has a number of features to aid accessibility. These include:
Entrance doorway to bathroom is wider; 33.46 inches (850mm)
Turning circle of 60 inches (1525mm) in bathroom
Grab bars surrounding toilet and shower
Folding shower bench
Rain-head showers with handheld spray shower
If you can safely transfer from your wheelchair and walk around the cabin you might also find cabins designated as ‘ambulatory’ suitable. Ambulatory cabins are positioned directly from the elevators / lifts so a wheelchair can be easily manoeuvred into the cabin. Guests are expected to transfer into the cabin from their wheelchair.
Cabin 8154Z Location
Cabin 8154Z sits in the midship part of the ship on deck 8. Midship means the central area of the ship. Deck 8 is close to dining, bars, and entertainment venues on decks 6 and 7.
The 'Z' in the cabin number means it is on the starboard side of the ship (right of the ship if you're looking straight forward). This can sometimes be important if you're doing a repositioning voyage like a Transatlantic crossing as it will determine if you will have the sunshine or not.
“The Sea Terrace” is typically located forward or aft and is the standard Sea Terrace category onboard. It’s one of the most popular cabin choices, offering a comfortable layout with adjustable mood lighting, practical storage, and a flexible wardrobe design. The main highlight is the private terrace with open sea views, making it a great option for those who want their own outdoor space and a clear connection to the ocean throughout the voyage.
