The Galley
Overview
The Galley on Virgin Voyages is a unique dining concept that replaces the traditional cruise ship buffet with a modern food hall featuring a range of food stations. Each station specializes in different cuisines, from Asian and Mexican to plant-based and seafood options. This setup offers freshly prepared, made-to-order meals that reduce waste and ensure a fresher dining experience.
The Galley offers a diverse selection of dining options in a lively setting, providing a convenient and flexible choice for those looking to enjoy a variety of meals during their cruise.
The Galley Opening Hours
Unlike traditional dining setups, The Galley operates on a flexible schedule to accommodate various dining needs (hours can vary so check on board):
- Core Breakfast is available from 6:30 AM to 11:00 AM.
- Lunch is served from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
- Dinner is offered from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
- The Diner & Dash Breakfast Station is open 24/7 for late-night bites.
- The Burger Bar stays open until 2:00 AM for those late-night cravings.

How to Order at The Galley
At The Galley, you have two convenient options for placing your order and one grab and go option:
- Order with a Server: Each table is equipped with a menu. Simply raise your flag when you’re ready to order, and a server will come to take your selection.
- Order at a Station: For a quicker option, you can choose from items available over the counter or place a made-to-order request at the station. You’ll receive a vibrating puck that alerts you when your order is ready.
- Grab & Go: A select few items are available from Grab & Go stations at the entrance to The Galley as well as Bento Baby.
The Galley Food Stations
The Galley features 12 unique stations that are all open for breakfast and lunch, dinner hours vary. Scroll down for Menus
- Hot off the Press – Provides open-faced toast options and sandwiches including Turkey & Swiss and Pastrami on Rye.
- Noodle Around – Offers various ramen options including Miso Udon, Thai Curry Ramen, Tonkotsu Ramen, and Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen.
- Let’s Taco Bout It – Serves a variety of tacos such as Fried Avocado Taco, Pescado Taco, and Tacos Al Pastor.
- Feta Late Than Hungry – Bringing Mediterranean flavors on select days from Let’s Taco About It, including Cod Souvlaki (gf), Falafel (v), and Roasted Beef Gyro.
- Diner & Dash – Breakfast items are served here including a full English, omelettes and toast.
- The Burger Bar – Includes items like The Classic Burger, The Impossible™ Burger and daily specials.
- Well Bread – Daily specials as well as flatbreads and rolls.
- The Sweet Side – Offering a range of desserts and fresh fruit
- Bento Baby – Offers sushi bento boxes such as Cucumber Avocado Roll, Salmon Avocado Roll, and a Bento Baby Combo.
- The Daily Mix – Soup & Salad – Features salads like Greek, Spinach & Quinoa, and Chicken Caesar, with optional add-ons like chicken, tuna, and hard-boiled egg.
- Pops & Bubs – This cart offers handmade ice cream pops in a variety of flavors, such as banana and chocolate. It also serves bubbles from The Galley menu, with champagne available.
- Tap That Cold/Hot – Offering complimentary filter coffee, teas, juices and Coke products including Coke Zero, Diet Coke, Coca-Cola, Ginger Ale, Sprite & Fanta.

Two different lunch menus are served on select days at The Galley. Menu A is usually available at the beginning of the voyage with Menu B available later in the voyage. Ask a server for more details.

Additionally The Galley will offer daily specials at most stations including Dinner from 5-10pm.
- Roasted Strip Loin with grilled shrimp, sour cream crushed dill potatoes, sauteed asparagus, and roasted fennel with citrus vinaigrette
- Cashew Butter Chicken and Lamb Korma with basmati rice, chana masala, vegetable jalfrezi, butter naan, and chili cheese naan
- Greek Leg of Lamb and Greek Shrimp Scorpio with Greek lemon potatoes, braised horta greens, vegetable briam, and pita
- Beef Bourguignon and Coq Au Vin with soft polenta, roasted celeriac and parsnips, and green beans with caramelized onions
- Glazed Ham and roasted turkey breast with potato gratin, grilled asparagus, and roasted carrots
- Beef Shepherd’s Pie and fried fish with hand cut chips, minted peas and carrots, and roasted Brussels sprouts
- Prime Rib and seared salmon with a baked potato station and roasted Brussels sprouts
- Lasagna and butter herb roasted chicken with creamy pine nut pesto fusilli, roasted broccolini, garlic sauteed spinach, and garlic bread
- Honey and mustard pork loin and roasted turkey with roasted red potatoes, savoy cabbage, caramelized pearl onion, and glazed apple
- Beef Wellington and grilled salmon with truffle jus, lemon vinaigrette, truffle mashed potatoes, roasted root vegetables, and mixed vegetables with garlic (typically the final night)
