Just did this tour on Resilient Lady this week on a trans-Atlantic crossing.

Our tour actually lasted 3 hours and we visited:
    – Red Room stage and dressing room
    – kitchen for Extra Virgin
    – food and beverage stores (learn how they order supplies for guests based on demographic)
    – refuse and recycling area
    – Engine Control Room (really fascinating bit!)
    – the bridge (Deputy Captain did the talk here 🫡)

Pricey maybe at $200 but it’s the same as Celebrity’s version which I’ve also done. Also same price as a 50 minute massage in the spa).

We took this tour last week on Valiant Lady. They only take 14 total sailors for this tour. It sells out fast. The cost is $200 for each person. It is a very interesting tour. The department heads that speak in each area we went to were very nice and very good at their jobs I’m sure… but not great at speaking to a group of sailors. Most didn’t speak loud enough in the noisy areas they work in so they could be heard. We would not do it again.

  3. Blair says:

How many spots are available for the tour? And is it only offered one time per cruise?

    1. VV Insider says:

Hi Blair it’s typically only offered on the longer sailings so the amount of times offered will also vary. Tour size is around 20

  4. Marg Beith says:

Will the people who board earlier maybe take up all the spots? My husband would love to do this tour.

    1. VV Insider says:

Hi Marg as booking events opens when people board it is possible but the high price tag usually means that it doesn’t sell out till later in the cruise 🙂
